If I had done PYL, this is the new end game I would have introduced, where up to $25,000 could be won... The day's champion is given 5 spins. Whenever he hits money, he can quit and take the cash, or press his luck, hoping to avoid a whammy. The money amounts and the Whammies remain stationary in this bonus game. Here's the breakdown of spins, assuming a Whammy is not hit. Spin 1 - 1 x the spin value (face value) Spin 2 - 2 x the spin value Spin 3 - 3 x the spin value Spin 4 - 4 x the spin value Spin 5 - 10 x the spin value Potential top payout $25,000. 4 whammies puts a player out of the game. If a whammy is hit during the final spin, all bonus winnings would be lost, so players can quit at anytime. If a whammy is hit on a given spin, then the player starts back at 1x again and has to build up. Big risks. Big rewards. Big bucks. For kicks, if someone would like to do a runthrough for this, I'd be pleased to do so. Also, to simulate a spin, I will select in secret a square to begin. The player will select a number 1 - 18. I will then count that number of spaces in a clockwise fashion, and that would be the result of the player's spin.

I think I'll try this out, as it seems like a very creative idea

Groovy, thanks!
I have the board "set", so to "spin", just select a number between 1 and 18 and good luck!

Stop at... $800! (applause) You can quit right now with your $800, or go for spin #2, which as you can see will be worth double the amount of money the board stops upon. If you hit a Whammy, it will only count as 1 Whammy, not 2, however, your $800 will go bye bye, and the multiplier will drop back to 1x. Also, the secret marker I place to begin won't necessarily start at the $800 that you just landed upon. Do you wish to quit, or do you wish to press your luck Mark? A possible $2,500 could be won this spin.

Stop at... A whammy... Well back to $0, back to 1 times the spin value. Let's try again. You could still end up with as much as $7,500.... Select a number from 1 to 18, and better luck this time Mark.

Stop at $600! (applause) Back in the chips, as Peter would have said. Quit with $600 or spin again? This spin will be worth double the dollar value if successful.

Stop at... $550! Times 2 means another $1,100, giving you $1,700 total. You can stop now, or spin one last time. If you whammy, you end up with zero. But it is 3 times the value you land on this time, so it could be worth up to $3,750 more if you do go for it. What's your pleasure?

Thanks. I know the normal odds of scoring money were 5 to 1 on the big board, here it was 7 to 2, or 3.5 to 1, so slightly more difficult.
I like to try to have end games that can have all kinds of amounts, not unlike the Money Cards with Card Sharks.

I like the idea of an endgame for Press Your Luck. Adds a new dimension to the game.
