In both cases the eagle believes itself safe from retribution for an act of violence and is punished by the destruction of its young.

Yeah, Casablanca is a 1942 American romantic drama film directed by Michael Curtiz, and starring Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman, and Paul Henreid. Filmed and set during World War II, it focuses on an American expatriate (Bogart) who must choose between his love for a woman (Bergman) or helping her and her husband (Henreid), a Czech resistance leader, escape from the Vichy-controlled city of Casablanca to continue his fight against the Germans. When the police arrest Victor Laszlo (Paul Henreid) on a trumped-up charge, Rick Blaine (Humphrey Bogart) persuades Captain Louis Renault (Claude Rains) to release him by promising to set him up for a much more serious crime: possession of the letters of transit. To allay Renault's suspicions, Rick explains that he and Ilsa Lund (Ingrid Bergman) will be leaving for America. When Renault tries to arrest Laszlo as arranged, Rick forces him at gunpoint to assist in their escape. At the last moment, Rick makes Ilsa board the plane to Lisbon with Laszlo, telling her that she would regret it if she stayed, "Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but soon and for the rest of your life."

Although Casablanca was an A-list film with established stars and first-rate writers, no one involved with its production expected it to stand out among the hundreds of pictures produced by Hollywood yearly. Casablanca was rushed into release to take advantage of the publicity from the Allied invasion of North Africa a few weeks earlier. It had its world premiere on November 26, 1942, in New York City and was released nationally in the United States on January 23, 1943. The film was a solid if unspectacular success in its initial run.

Exceeding expectations, Casablanca went on to win the Academy Award for Best Picture, while Michael Curtiz was selected as Best Director and Brothers Julius and Philip G. Epstein and Howard Koch were honored for Best Adapted Screenplay. Its reputation has gradually grown, to the point that its lead characters, memorable lines, and pervasive theme song have all become iconic, and it consistently ranks near the top of lists of the greatest films in history. In 1989, the United States Library of Congress selected the film as one of the first for preservation in the National Film Registry for being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant".

As for Anna Karenina, it's a 2012 historical romantic drama film directed by Joe Wright. Adapted by Tom Stoppard from Leo Tolstoy's 1877 novel of the same name, the film depicts the tragedy of Russian aristocrat and socialite Anna Karenina, wife of senior statesman Alexei Karenin, and her affair with the affluent cavalry officer Count Vronsky. Keira Knightley stars in the leading role as Karenina.

It earned four nominations at the 85th Academy Awards and six nominations at the 66th British Academy Film Awards, winning Jacqueline Durran both prizes for Best Costume Design. In addition, Anna Karenina garnered six nominations at the 17th Satellite Awards, including a Best Actress nod for Knightley and Best Adapted Screenplay for Stoppard.

At the end of the movie, poor Anna was on a train heading towards Moscow, and after believing that her relationship with her husband is over after having an affair with another, she starts to think of suicide as an escape from her torments. In her mental and emotional confusion, she sends a telegram to Count Alexei Kirillovich Vronsky asking him to come home to her, and then pays a visit to Princess Darya "Dolly" Alexandrovna Oblonskaya and Princess Ekaterina "Kitty" Alexandrovna Shcherbatskaya. Anna's confusion and anger overcome her and, in conscious symmetry with the railway worker's death on her first meeting with Vronsky, from ground level at the end of a railway platform, she throws herself with fatal intent between the wagon wheelsets of a passing freight train, but not before saying, "Oh God. Forgive me."

Whew! So after all of that, it looks like tragedy for both of you as well, because you each get 2 cards added to your hand.

For our 50th Anniversary of Uno, we now have these 2 special items...

The Wild 50/50 Card and the 50th Anniversary UNO Gold Coin! Whoever plays this card will go head-to-head with your opponent in a good ol' Coin Toss Shootout. Now, to one who plays the Wild 50/50 card, you will get to decide who's going to be "Heads" and who is going to be "Tails".

The side of the coin that says "UNO" will represent "Heads", and the side of the coin that has the number "50" on it will represent "Tails". Mari will flip the coin, and it'll land on the mat to see where it lands. Now, whoever LOSES the Coin Toss will have to Draw Four cards from the deck and add them to their hand. And since that this also counts as a Wild Card, the player who played this card will choose the color of their choice before resuming gameplay.

And there's one important element that's going to determine the fate of our players...

This machine is a little bit different than normal slot machines, because instead of paying cash and coins, it awards cards and a bunch of surprises! Now in order to spin the slot machine, which Mari will do, you will need to play one of these two cards...
