Hello friends! Here is a list of the rules for my version of "NOW YOU SEE IT".
Two contestants compete, one of which is usually a returning champion.
In each round, the first player to ring in has a chance to locate the correct answer on the board.
Buzzcodes from 1 - 100 (inclusive) will be used. Twenty buzzcodes will be sent ahead of time to the host, via private message to save time.
The board has four rows, numbered 1 through 4, and 14 positions, numbered 1 through 14.
If the first player to ring in gets the answer wrong, or takes too long (48 hour deadline), or is unable to locate the word, the other player will then have a
chance to do so.
If neither player can find the word or the answer, the host will indicate which line the correct answer is in and will provide another clue to help.
The next set of buzzcodes will apply if this situation arises.
Once the host asks a player for the answer, they must indicate the line number where the answer is located, then the position of the first letter of the word,
then the word itself.
Words in each round will be worth money.
1st word - $100
2nd word - $150
3rd word - $200
4th word - $250
5th word - $300
6th word - $400
7th word - $500
Both players keep any cash they score, but the first player to reach $1,000 or more wins one game.
If the score ends $950 to $950, which is mathematically possible, then one more word is played for $50 to determine the game's winner.
To win the championship, a player must win 2 games.
Game 1 will use one board. Game 2 will use another board.
If after game 2 each player has won only one game, one more toss-up question is played using game 2's board. The winner of that tie-breaker will earn another $1,000.
At the start of each game, the board will be revealed. Each player will submit one "Bonus Word" via private message to the host.
If either player rings in and uses that bonus word as an answer, they will receive a $500 bonus, not affecting the score of the game.
If either player wins in a shutout, meaning $1,000 to $0, they win a perfect score jackpot which starts at $1,000 and grows by $250 per game until won.
The winner will then go on to play the Solo Game for up to $25,000 in cash.
The Solo Game is played in two parts.
During the first part of the round, the player will be shown a brand new board and asked 10 questions.
The more correct answers given, the more money they could win.
The Solo Game's questions may prove a bit more challenging than in the regular match.
The champion will have just 24 hours per question, not 48, during the solo round, to provide the correct line number, position number, and answer.
Only one answer may be given. If the answer is wrong, or the 24 hour time limit expires, that question is lost and we move onto the next question.
Every correct answer earns a selection off of a money board. A maximum of 10 picks can be won.
The money board consists of 12 numbered rows.
8 of the rows contain cash amounts. $500, $750, $1000, $1250, $1500, $2000, $2500, and $3000.
2 of the cards contain two halves of the word "DOU" and "BLE". If both are uncovered, the pot is doubled at that moment.
2 of the cards contain two halves of the word "WIPE" and "OUT". If both of those are chosen, all bonus winnings are lost.
After a player uncovers a money card or one half of the "DOUBLE", they will be given the option to quit or continue.
If the column concealing "WIPE" or "OUT" is selected, the player is required to select again.
Should the first 2 selections be DOU and BLE, in either order, the player automatically wins $25,000.
Any contestant who wins 5 days in a row retires as an undefeated champion.
QUALIFYING QUESTION:
