(Doug in pre-recorded audio as contestant plug cue plays)If you'd like to be a contestant on Crag: The Numbers Game, call our contestant hotline at 1-800-555-CRAG -- or visit TraxProductions.net/crag.(audience applauds) You call that number -- and you could be standing where Marc is right now -- at the Super Crag dice ramp. Marc, you're up to $86,800 -- but a couple of lucky rolls could win you a million. (audience cheers) Marc, say hello to today's dice girl, Devon, who has the Super Crag dice. The dice in the cup are smaller -- but the stakes are bigger. Since you won $2500 from the winner's board... (ding)... we seed the pot with a different $2500. Every time you want to play Super Crag, you roll all three dice -- and if it's a safe roll, you'll win more money based on the roll's value in hundreds of dollars. All the 20-point straights are worth $2000 each, the triples $2500 each, 13 in any combination pays $2600 -- *BUT* if that combination of 13 has a pair of a particular number in it, that's a Crag for $5000. (audience cheers)(rolling sfx)As you know, you want to build up the pot to at least $10,000. Have more than 10 grand in the pot -- and you win tonight's super bonus *of*... (dings; audience cheers)...$43,000. But if you're really lucky and can hit $10,000 right on the nose, you win the mega bonus of $1,000,000. (audience cheers)Now -- every roll does come with a risk -- as Devon will show us. (scattered boos) Yup -- the gremlin. One number on one cube has been replaced with the gremlin. If he comes up, you lose everything in the Super Crag. So after every safe roll, I'll give you a chance to stop. You'd certainly *like* to roll a Crag and a triple, not necessarily in that order, for the million. But if you're fearing a gremlin right now, I'll let you quit here and take $2500 -- or you may risk everything in the pot by rolling the Super Crag dice. (audience shouts suggestions) (Marc, if you wish to risk and roll, please respond with a number from 1-100. You'll see the result of that roll and the next few down the list so long as you have less than $10,000 in the pot, not stop the game and not roll the losing gremlin.)

Sounds like a plan. (audience cheers) Let's see if you can start with a Crag or a triple. (Marc shakes up bucket; pours dice down ramp) (audience applause) Got a 10 instead. At $100 a point, we add $1000 to the pot. $3500 -- yours for the taking or yours for the risking. What's your pleasure? (audience shouts suggestions)

(Marc shakes up bucket; pours dice down ramp) (audience applause) A 3, another 3 and a 6. That puts another $1200 in the kitty. You're up to $4700. Want to stop and keep the money or risk and roll again? (audience shouts suggestions)

All right. Going for your third roll. Good luck. (Marc shakes up bucket; pours dice down ramp) (audience groans; wonk wonk wonk wonk) (Doug impersonates Homer Simpson's annoyed grunt) Gremlin got ya again, Marc. Terribly sorry. Tell ya what. The last time you lost in the Super Crag, I drop kicked that gremlin cube off the stage. Would you like to do the honors this time? (scattered cheers) (some shout, "Go for it, Marc!")

Gladly! (I grab the gremlin die, put it on the ground with the gremlin's face toward me, then punt it off the stage, over the audience area and through the exit door)
And stay out!

(audience laughs and applauds) Even if that thing's damaged, the prop department will easily come up with a new gremlin cube. (scattered laughter) Let's look at the positive side, Marc. You've won three matches and $86,800. You just need to win the next match and the match after that to win that Ferrari. *And* our next episode is a special one. It's our 13th episode. And 13, as we know by now, is a lucky number in Crag. We're putting more money in the main games -- and a ton more in the Super Crag. Want to know more? You'll just have to come back tomorrow to find out all about it. We'll see Marc on the next show and we'll play an audience game -- after this. (WGYN theme plays; audience applauds)

As promised earlier, if someone won the match in a two-game sweep, we'd let Clément Couvreur play an audience game. Time for me to be a man of my word. Clément, come on up.

(audience cheers)And we're back with Crag: The Numbers Game. While everyone's looking forward to our next show and the cash infusion included therein, a lot of money can be won in this audience game we call Goose Eggs. We'll tell our audience game player how he can turn a lot of nothing into a lot of something. But first, let's meet said audience game player -- Clément Couvreur. (more cheers)Clément, welcome to our show. Please tell us about yourself.

Well, we hope you have a blast playing Goose Eggs. Here's how we play. First, Devon's handing you one dice cube. You'll roll that cube four times. The number you roll gives the power to replace a zero with that number. Now -- if you manage to put the numbers you roll in order highest to lowest from left to right and including any repeats, we'll pay you a bonus of $10,000. (audience cheers) Oh, but wait, there's more. Whether or not you win the $10,000 bonus, you'll then have a chance to go double or nothing -- (audience goes "ooo") -- meaning you could walk away with more than $30,000. (audience cheers) Suddenly -- you look ready to go and I can't say as I blame ya. When you're ready, give it a roll. (Clément, number from 1-100 please. You'll see the result of that roll and the next three down the list of cube rolls. Should you start at 98 or later, we'll "wrap around" and go to the beginning of the list to proceed from there.)

All right, we'll replace the last goose egg with a 2. (ding)That means you're two dollars richer. But you can win much more from here. Second roll coming up. (Clément rolls cube down ramp) (scattered applause) And it's a 3. Should a 3 replace the first, second or third zero? (audience shouts suggestions)

Thought ya might. (ding) (more scattered applause) You're up to $32 with two rolls left. (Clément rolls cube down ramp) (scattered applause) It's a 4. I *think* I know where this is going -- but you have to tell me where it's going. Is this replacing the first or second goose egg? (audience shouts suggestions)

Second.

|
Post by dougmorrisontheair on Apr 15, 2015 21:16:46 GMT -5
(audience cheers)That's the way to play it. (ding)All right, $432 with one roll left. Remember, friends, if Clément can put all the numbers he rolled in order from highest to lowest, reading left to right, he wins the bonus of $10,000. Clément, anything higher than a 3 wins you that bonus. It would be awesome if you got that 6, rather cool for a 5, okay for a 4. As long as you get that number higher than a 3, we'll stick a 1 in that empty space between that dollar sign and the remaining zero on the board. (scattered cheers; a good number say, "Go Clément!") We're all on your side, Clément. Give that cube one more roll. (Clément rolls cube down ramp) (audience groans)Ah, a 1! Well... (ding)...you collect $1432 from the rolls. (audience cheers) *But* we're not done yet. Clément, you still get a chance to go double or nothing -- and here's how. If you want to try to double your money, you'll pick a letter in the word "Crag". Two of those letters hide "double" cards. Find one of those and you'll double your money to $2864. (audience cheers) Each of the remaining two letters hide gremlins. Find one of the gremlins and you lose it all. So, Clément, the decision is this. Would you like to stop and keep $1432 -- or take one chance to try and double up to $2864? (audience shouts suggestions)
