Let's all hope that you win it all. Here are the rules-- On your screen, we have 11 tiles. Attached to seven of those are the letters in the word "JACKPOT". One tile has a star, that's a Wild Card and you can play it anytime you wish. The other three tiles are the dreaded stoppers. Stay away from them. If you can spell out JACKPOT before you uncover the third and final stopper, you will win $15,000 if the last letter placed is on a regular square... $20,000 on a blue square... and $25,000 on a pink square. If you fill up the word JACKPOT with only 1 stopper pulled, the amounts are somewhat higher, as you can see according to legend. If you fill up the word JACKPOT without drawing a single stopper, and if your last letter placed is on the pink tile, you will win $150,000! (loud cheers and applause)Before you select a tile, you will get to pick where you want the blue and pink tiles placed on the slots. They are numbered 1 through 7. Please select two of those numbers and indicate which one you want as your blue tile, and which one you want as your pink tile. |

Now that you have selected the blue tile in slot 1 and the pink tile in slot 7... let's clear out the numbers. Each time you select a numbered tile, you get a letter. And once we placed a letter on a selected slot, we'll add some cash-- ranging between 250 all the way up to $1,000. [CHEERS, APPLAUSE]You select a colored tile, it will be out of play. However, we'll multiply the amount. The blue is double the amount while the pink is triple the amount. The two things you need to avoid are the stoppers and the pink tile... the letter T. Remember... if the last letter is on the pink tile, you will win $150,000. [MORE CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Good luck, Nels... please select a number. |
