If you've been watching Lucky Numbers on Channel 3, you probably noticed HR87-esque special games at the silver level of the main event.
Most of the games that have been created are faithful to HR87 -- with updated artwork.
There's an original game I'd like to test here.
Who wants to try it?

(audience cheers)Welcome back to Lucky Numbers. Shederick, you got two and a half medals -- the gold for the car and the silver for this special game we're about to play. Got *really* close to the bronze and cleaning house. But let's see if you can win $35,000 in our game of... ...In The Chips. And the best way for me to explain the game is to have you roll one of the dice. Go ahead and do that, please.
Shederick, and for all looking in, it's best to get rolls of the cube from Randomizer.org. It's been virtually rolled 100 times with each roll placed in a set. Please select a roll code from 1-100 and you'll see the result of that roll and as many as the next five rolls "down the list". If your roll code is 100 or in the high 90s, that's fine; we'll wrap around and go to the top of the list if necessary and proceed from there.

(audience cheers as Shederick rolls) And the first roll is a 1. Now here's why we call this game In The Chips. We're placing a chip... (ding)...on the number 1. At the end of this game, Shederick, if 1 is the randomly determined winning number, you win the $35,000 cash bonus. But -- let's increase the odds of winning. Here's how. In a moment, I'll ask you to keep rolling until one of two things happens: You either roll five more new numbers -- or until you repeat a number. If you roll the numbers 2 through 6, in no particular order and without repetition, you obviously have the winning number covered and win $35,000 automaticaly. Should you repeat a number, we'll still check to see if you've rolled the winning number for $35,000. If you don't have the winning number covered, we'll still give you $500 for each chip you placed on the board. Any questions?
(Shederick, if no questions, you'll see the results of the 25th through 29th rolls unless there's a repeat somewhere along this line.)

Then good luck and let's see if you *really* end up -- in the chips. (audience cheers as Shederick rolls) And you roll a 6. Let's put a chip there, please. (ding)Now we're looking for any number higher than 1 and lower than 6. (audience cheers as Shederick rolls) (burst of cheers) That works -- a 5. (ding)You're halfway home to the automatic win, Shederick. Roll it while it's hot. (audience cheers as Shederick rolls) (burst of cheers) And you got a 4. Wow. (ding)A 2 and a 3 are left! Let's see one of those numbers on that cube, Shederick. (audience cheers as Shederick rolls) (audience groans)Another 4. That's a repeat. And the rolling stops here. Well, to say the least, the odds are in your favor, Shederick. If 1, 4, 5, or 6 is the winning number, you're $35,000 richer. If it's 2 or 3, we cash in the chips at $500 each for $2000. What do you think? Got this $35,000 in the bag?

If this was played on the high seas, they would probably call it "Chips Ahoy!"
Loved this idea!

[Thanks, Bill. Now, the top prize on In The Chips will change "as needed". Same can be said for its level. Sometimes, it will be a cash prize. Other times, a great trip, a fantastic set of wheels, or something else.
Depending on the potential value of the special game against the values of the other prizes, In The Chips, and the other special games we play in Lucky Numbers, will be assigned either to the silver or gold medal.
Rules, however, won't change. So with that...]
(ASB cue plays; audience applauds) Welcome back to Lucky Numbers. Bill, what a spectacular main event -- the bronze medal for that Ford F-150, the silver for the Chevy Corvette, the gold for the *chance* to play for a Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 -- and of course that $150,000 jackpot. But let's really make it a clean sweep in our game of In The Chips. You know how the game works. One of these numbers on the board has been randomly designated the winning number. Roll that number with one of the dice -- and you'll have to use some of that money you've won to build a three-car garage. (scattered laughter and cheers) So, go ahead and please give it a roll.
Bill, a roll code, please, from 1-100.

(audience cheers as Bill rolls) Starting off with a 6. Let's put a chip on 6. (ding)If that 6 is the winning number, you win the Lamborghini -- but let's increase the odds of winning. Here's how. We'll let you keep rolling until one of two things happens: You manage to roll all of the remaining numbers that are not covered by chips *without* repeating -- or do you roll a number that's already been covered by a chip. At the end of the game, we'll check to see if you've got the winning number covered. If you do, you win that Lamborghini. If you don't, you'll cash in the chips for $500 each as a consolation prize. So -- ready to roll for new numbers and increase the odds of winning that Lamborghini?

I will give it a go. Great, Kourtney. Here's the situation. Let's pretend you won one and a half medals in the main event -- all of the silver (giving you the right to play this special game) and half of the bronze. For certain, you're $3000 to the good going into the special game. If we were playing this in an actual episode of Lucky Numbers, I'd ask you to cut a deck of 52 playing cards. Please do that now -- by responding with a cut code from 0-51 and I'll cut the deck that many cards deep.

(ASB cue plays; audience applauds) Welcome back to Lucky Numbers. Kourtney, you're $3000 richer. But with a lucky roll, you could win $30,000 in our game of Cash Card. Here's how the game works. During the break, we had you cut a deck of 52 playing cards. In a moment, you'll be rolling one of the dice. The number you roll determines which of the first six cards from the top of the deck is the cash card. For example, if you roll a 4, then the fourth card in the deck is yours. Now, when the cash card is reached, you win its value in thousands of dollars. So if the cash card is a 10 or face card, the payoff is $10,000. Any card lower than 10 awards the number on the card in thousands of dollars. But if your cash card is an ace, we make it worth $30,000. (audience cheers)So, please roll one of the dice -- and let's see what happens.
Kourtney, please give me a roll code from 1-100.

(audience cheers as Kourtney rolls) The roll is a 3. That means if the third card from the top of the deck is an ace, you win $30,000. So, let's first see what you didn't win. The first card from the top of the deck is... (Doug draws card a la Gambit dealer) ...an ace. Ohhhh kay. Well -- we do have three other aces in the deck. Maybe it's the third card. However, we have to go to the second card in the deck. (Doug draws card a la Gambit dealer) (scattered cheers) Okay, you missed out on $4000 that time. But this next card is yours, Kourtney -- and -- it is... (Doug takes peaks before showing card to camera) Well -- it's not an ace -- but it is... (Doug draws card a la Gambit dealer) ...the 8 of clubs for $8000. Congratulations. (audience cheers)That means your total from the main event is $11,000 all in cash. How do you feel?

Well, you're certainly grateful for winning $8000 from this game. Could you have won more? If you rolled a 4, this was going to be the cash card... (Doug draws card a la Gambit dealer) ...for $7000. If Kourtney rolled a 5.... ...our first face card -- the queen for $10,000. And was the 6th card another ace? No another face card for $10,000.
Okay, let's test another game. This one's based on something we played occasionally on Hot Dice -- which is going back a bit. Who wants to play?

(ASB win cue plays; audience applause) We're back with Nels who won a great trip to Miami with the bronze medal and the right to turn a Double Play with the silver medal. Nels, here's how Double Play works. We have six different amounts of cash randomly placed behind the numbers. They all total $10,000. Nels, if you can roll *any* double on your first attempt, you win all the cash on the board, we double the values *and* double them again for a grand total of $40,000. (audience cheers)Should you roll two different numbers, we'll show you the two amounts behind the numbers you rolled. In other words, if you roll a 5 and a 6, you'll see the amounts behind 5 and 6 on the board. By then, I'll give you the option to stop and keep those awards -- or give them back for one more attempt at a double for a possible $20,000. Any questions?
(Nels, if no questions, please respond with a roll code from 1-100.)
