I had a feeling you might... If it's an Ace, you'll win game 1 of this best 2 out of 3 game match. Lynn? Oh my! (applause) Another King, that gives you 20! I ask, only because I'm required to, do you wish to freeze or continue Matt?

Freezing on 20 and who could blame you Matt? If that score ends up winning for you, you'll win another $1,000 plus a nice prize. Michael, in order to win game 1, you'll of course need exactly 21. You'll have to continue earning cards in order to do that. If you are incorrect with an answer, or if you run out of time (48 hour deadline), or if you go over 21, Matt will win game number one. I'll remind you that it has happened before where someone with a 20 lost We've got a new question up on the board... Michael, which question do you want to try?

Correct for another $100! (applause) Lynn, Michael needs an 8 for an instant win. Do you have it for him? Well, it's an Ace, it didn't put you over at least! Now at 14. You need a 7 for a win Michael. We'll add another new question to the board... Which one do you select?

That is correct again! (applause) Bud Abbott & Lou Costello, great team! So another $100 for you Michael... $400 in cash is yours regardless of the outcome of this game. A 7 will give you the win. A six or less means you'll need to answer another question, as there are no ties on Gambit. An 8 or higher and you will go over. Lynn, what's the next card for Michael's hand? TWENTY-ONE!!!!!!! picosong.com/4U4j/HEY ABBOTT!!!!!!!!! (audience chuckling) My goodness! You know I don't know just how often that has happened, but I believe it's happened at least two other times so far, where someone had frozen on 20 and their opponent pulled out a 21! See audience? You were moaning and groaning over that 3 of Clubs earlier, and look what happened! Matt, we pay $25 per point for the runner-up of a game, so another $500 for your 20, and a total of $700 today so far. Michael, we pay $50 per point for the winner, so $1,050 for a 21, plus the Any 21 Jackpot of $1,250, so your total in cash thus far is $2,700! (applause) Plus, for winning game #1 of the match, you have also just won this nice gift, Frank? Frank Caliendo (as Kenny Williams): It's an exercycle. Frank Caliendo (as Kenny Williams): From Nordictrack... Training for the big event, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, losing weight or building endurance… Whatever your goal might be, the GX 5.0 Pro exercise bike will get you there… Retail value, $550. (applause) So we add the value of that to your $2,700 cash total, and already Michael, in just one game, you've amassed... Three-thousand two-hundred fifty dollars in cash and prizes here on Gambit PM! (applause) When we return, Michael will try to win another $2,500 in bonus cash. Beat the Dealer is next! So please stay tuned!

(shot of the studio audience) Thank you and welcome back to Gambit P.M. The time has come for us to play "Beat the Dealer" with our game 1 winner Michael Clifford... Michael, you are about to play one hand of Blackjack against our lovely dealer Lynn. The remaining cards in the same deck we played game number one with are still in play. Lynn will begin dealing you cards to form your hand. Once you reach a score of twelve or higher, I will ask you if you wish to freeze or continue. If you continue and the next card you draw puts you over 21, you lose. If the next card you draw gives you exactly 21, then you will win the Beat the Dealer jackpot which tonight is worth… (CLANG) And so far, in our first 8 shows, we've had 7 wins and only 1 loss! However, if the jackpot is not won, we will add $500 to it for our next program. Once you freeze, Lynn will begin to draw cards to form her hand. Lynn must hit on any hand totalling 16 and below. Lynn must freeze on any hand totalling 17 and above. In the event you and Lynn should tie, you won't win the jackpot, but you will still receive one-thousand dollars, and the jackpot will still grow by $500 for our next program. So let's begin. Lynn, please deal Michael his first card... It's a six. Next card please Lynn... (moans & groans from the audience) Hmm, another 6, a total of 12. Michael, as I stated a moment ago, once you reach a score of 12 or higher, I'll give you the option to freeze or continue. If you continue and the next card you draw is a ten, Jack, Queen or King, then you will go over 21 and this mini-bonus game will be over. What do you want to do?

Alright! Gutsy move! Let's see if it was the right decision. Lynn, deal up the next card please... picosong.com/4U4j/(camera moves back to see... ...me lying in front of my podium in utter disbelief) (standing back up and returning behind my podium, straightening my hair, my tie and my glasses) Another remarkable win! THREE sixes in four cards! Michael, whatever your instincts told you, they were SPOT ON! If I were you young man, I'd run right out and play some PowerBall tickets! Well, we're going to try to catch our breath here, and take a quick timeout, Game 2 of this very exciting episode will be forthcoming, so be sure NOT to miss it! (applause & cheers) Fantastic win Michael! Fantastic!

And now, back with the second half of "Gambit P.M.", here's Bill McDee! (applause) I thank you Frank Caliendo and I thank you friends! Our champion Matt Ringgenberg gave back the car on the last show to try to win it again plus $25,000. Right now however, he's trailing one game to zero, so this game is vital for him to win if he hopes to repeat as champion. As the Any 21 Jackpot was hit during Game number one it resets to... (CLANG) One-thousand dollars, and of course any 21 that requires only 2 cards pays... (CLANG) Double, or in this case, two-thousand dollars. Also, the winner of game #2 will win a very lovely prize, and here's Frank to tell us what it is, Frank? Frank Caliendo (as Kenny Williams): It's a recliner. Frank Caliendo (as Kenny Williams): From Klaussner Home Furnishings, it's the Priest leather recliner. Featuring clean, contemporary lines and inward-sloping track arms, Priest recliners provide ample cushioning in your living space for years to come. Retail value, $1,500. (applause) And Lynn will now reveal the first card in this second game of tonight's match... It's a 7 of Spades players. In game 1, Matt, the champion selected the first question played. In game 2, the challenger always has that privilege. Michael, let's look at the question board, and select one please...
