Front Game:
Three players compete. They are given $20 at the start of the game. General knowledge toss up questions worth five dollars are asked. In Round 2, the values increase to $10, and in Round 3, the values increase again to $15.
Right answers add to their score, incorrect answers subtract the money. Regardless, the other two players do not get a chance to answer.
Each round consists of a set of questions, a Gift Shop in the middle of the round, a Fame Game with 3 more questions, and a special theme.
Instant Bargain:
During periods of the program, the game is stopped to offer the leader a chance to buy a prize with their score. The host may even reduce the price even further or offer the player money in hopes of convincing them to buy.
In the event of a tie, any participating players are offered the prize through a Dutch auction. The first player to hit their buzzer receives the prize at the last announced price by the host.
Once the prize is bought or the deal is closed, an occasional Sale Surprise containing money or an extra prize may reveal itself.
Brain Stumpers (Round 1):
A random puzzle or riddle or brain teaser from Braingle or the BrainDen will be played, and anyone who gets it right will get some money. There are a total 5 fun stumpers, in which they are worth $5, $10, $15, $20, and $25. Any wrong answer will cost the player that amount of money player for.
The Fame Game:
The host would read a series of clues leading to a famous person, place, or thing. If no one gets it after the clues are read, then no one gets a pick of the board.
The first player to buzz in with the correct answer got a pick of the "Fame Game" board, if wrong, s/he is eliminated but s/he didn't lose any money.
On the "Fame Game" board are 9 numbers.
Fame Game Spaces:
Prizes: A prize worth between $100 to $1,000 is given to the player.
Cash: A cash prize is given to the player (Between $250 to $1000).
Money Cards: If found, they add the card amount to the player's score. Initially, a $10 card is offered in this round. The $15 Money Card is added for the second Fame Game, and the $25 Money Card is added for the third and final.
True or False: A true or false question is asked. If a player gets it right, they get to take $10 away from an opponent and add it to their score.
Lockout: This is available in Rounds 1 and 2 only. If found, the player gets to force an opponent out of play for the following three questions.
Turbo: This is available in Rounds 1 and 2 only. For the player alone, the following three questions in this first round are worth +/- $10 instead of the normal set.
Instant Cash Bump: This is available in Rounds 1 and 2 only. If found, then an extra $5,000 is added to the Instant Cash jackpot.
Mystery Money or Pick Again: This is available in Round 3 only. The player may take an unknown amount of cash or pick another space.
Surprise: This is available in Round 3 only. A player is given the decision to take what's hidden behind the space or take $2000 in cash. The Surprise space can be anything, including a Mystery Cash Amount, a $20 Money Card, additional prizes, or Combination, or a forfeiture of $10.
Fast Money:
The host would ask the contestants rapid-firing questions for 20 seconds in Round 1 and 30 seconds in Round 2.
In Round 1, buzzing in with the correct answer is now worth $3 while an incorrect answer now costs $3. In Round 2, it's $7.
$ale of The Century Vault (Round 2):
The leading player or players are offered a chance at opening the $OTC Vault, at the price of $20 - this price is never reduced from $20 unless there is more than one player eligible, in which case a Dutch auction is held.
Whoever opened the vault receives a cash prize of random value between $1 and $10,000.
Instant Ca$h (Round 3):
Like the "Instant Bargains" the player in the lead had a chance to choice 1 of 3 boxes,
2 of them each had $100 and 1 had a big cash prize which started at $5,000 and went up by $1,000 each time it wasn't won, or $5,000 if the "Instant Ca$h Bump" is found.
The price of the "Instant Cash" was how much the player in the lead was over the second place player's score (for example, if the first place player's score was $45 and the second place player's score was $35 then the price of the "Instant Ca$h" was $10).
If there was a tie, an auction was held.
Super Stumpers (Round 3):
There are now 5 questions that will require 2, 3, or even 4 answers. Each group of responses is worth $30, $40, $50, $75, and $150, respectively. Any 1 wrong answer will cost the player $20, and gives the other players a chance to steal. They should be careful, because if they get it wrong, they'll lost $20 as well.
Final Round - The 20/20 Showdown:
In this final event, there are now only 20 Questions left in the game. Each correct answer is now worth $20 and incorrect answers lost $20.
A subject or clue will be given, and it's up to the contestants to answer the questions accordingly.
The player with the most money at the end of the 20/20 Showdown is the winner and goes to The $ale Of The Century Round.
Runners-up take home consolation money ($2000 for 2nd and $1000 for 3rd, or $1500 if its a tie), plus any prizes won from "Instant Bargains" and "Fame Games" (expecting values from between $2000-15000, which is a fair consolation prize).
In the event of a tie, The host will ask another question and the first player to buzz in with the correct answer has $20 added to his/her score and s/he wins,
but an incorrect answer subtracts $20 from his/her score and his/her opponent wins.
In the event of a 3 way tie, if a player buzz in and answer incorrectly, the other players play the same tie breaker as before.
The $ale Of The Century Round:
The $ale of the Century Round consists of 2 parts: The Winner's Board and the Bullseye Bonus.
Winner's Board:
On the board are 25 squares, in which there are 10 Prizes, 2 "WIN" cards, and 3 Moneybags. The prizes are as follows:
3- Prize worth $1,000-$2,000
2- Prize worth $3,000-$4,000
2- Prize worth $5,000-$8,000
1-$10,000 Cash
1-Luxury Trip $12,000-$20,000
1-CAR or CARS $30,000-$70,000
In order to win everything in one shot, the champion has to pick the 3 Moneybags on their first 3 picks. Doing so will equal DOUBLE the Cash Jackpot and win ALL of the prizes.
If the Moneybags are picked separately, then each one is worth $5,000.
The champion picks numbers until he either makes a match, or makes an automatic match with the "WIN" card, or pick the 3 Moneybags on the first 3 picks. If the champion matches a prize, then he wins it and will return on the next program to defend his title. Every five shows, the merchandise is swapped out, and prizes that have not been won will be replaced with prizes of similar value.
If the champion matches all of the prizes on the Winner's Board, and didn't win the Cash Jackpot, then the champion has a decision to make. He can either leave with all 10 prizes he's won off the Winner's Board or he can risk those 10 prizes in one final game. Should he win that game, he gets all 10 prizes plus the Cash Jackpot (which starts at $100,000 and goes up depending on the player's score at the End Game). If he loses that final match, the major prizes are lost and he is left with cash and prizes won through Instant Bargains, Fame Games, and the Devil's Mystery Box.
The Cash Jackpot is added as follows:
If the player's final score is:
$100: Add $10,000
$125: Add $12,500
$250: Add $25,000
$300: Add $30,000
$400: Add $40,000
$500 or more: Add $50,000
