I want to see something, then I will flesh out later on why I wanted to see this.

"The Flintstones" was a popular cartoon series in the 1960s which reran so very often, especially during my childhood in the 1970s and still is on in reruns today I'm sure.

Fred, Wilma and Pebbles had a pet dinosaur/dog named "Dino".

The Rubble family, consisting of Barney, Betty and their adopted son Bamm-Bamm also had a pet.

The trivia question is, what was the name of the Rubble's pet?

Good guess but incorrect.  Although rarely if ever featured on the show, we saw Baby Puss at the end of the ending credits, ,as he was the one who would toss Fred out of the house.

No, good try.

The answer is Hoppy.  He was a Hopparoo from "Down Under" according to the pet shoppe owner that Barney Rubble spoke to.  And Barney named him "Hoppy" for short.
