Hmmm...that's strange that it would do that. Since Michael already made his next choice, I must be fair and allow his choice.
Having that said: Who was the movie actress that played opposite Patrick Swayze in dirty Dancing? (BC:46)
Michael: 42 (DING!) Clément: Passed
Me: Michael buzzed in.
Michael: Jennifer Grey. (applause)
Me: That she did, and we will show you your card.................right after these messages!

Welcome back to Top Card where everyone is on the edge of their seats. Did Michael make the right choice and hit on 17, or will Clément go to the bonus round for the fourth time? It all hinges on what is behind the category..... (Audience Groans) Oh, Michael, you're going to need that top card! It all rests on what Sophie shows up. If it's a 4 or less, then you are still alive. Else, Clément wins the game. The fingers are crossed. (Sophie shows it while pouting) Sophie: Sorry, Michael. (Trebek HR Bad Roll Horn, Michael's fans express disgust) That's a bust, and Clément wins once again! (Applause and theme song plays; Sophie and I walk to the contestants' podiums) We have to say goodbye to Michael. However, you will not be leaving up empty handed. You have earned $1500 today and a consolation hug from Sophie, which is not bad for less than a half hour's work. Give it up for Michael Clifford, everybody. (Applause) Clément, you have another $1000 in the till, which brings you up to over $22,000. When we come back, we'll see if Clément can drive home in a brand new Nissan coming up next!

(Cold Open)
Me: Congratulations once again to Clément. This is your fourth time here at the Bonus Board. All you need to do is to get 21 in 4 cards or fewer by selecting prizes off this board. As always, you have the choice to take the card or exchange it for the top card. If at any time you bust or pick the Joker, the game is over, and you win nothing. At any time you think you will bust or pick the Joker, you may elect to stop and keep the prizes accumulated. If you get a 21 on the nose, you can win one of these brand new cars. Dan, tell us about them:
(Vamped theme, Sophie models the cars)
Dan: Clément, you could drive home in one of these stylish automobiles. It could be the:
Nissan Versa Note SL compact car (Applause starts) Nissan Leaf S electric car (ooooohs) Nissan 370Z Touring Sportscar (whistles and cheers) Nissan Juke SV compact crossover (more applause) or the Nissan Frontier truck (Cheers)
(Theme ends)
Me: And more thing. If you happen to find a ten and ace together on the board in your first two turns, you will win the Grand Slam bonus of all the prizes on the board, the car, and this...
(Aussie SOTC Cash Jackpot Fanfare)
Dan (echos): A cash jackpot of $26,300! (Whistles and oohs)
Me: Clément, pick one of these 5 envelopes from Sophie's hands to determine which car you will play for. Good luck!

(Sophie lays down the other envelopes and walks toward the cars, I open the envelope.) Me: Clément, you will be playing for......THE JUKE! (Applause and cheers) Dan, tell us more about the car. (Car theme plays) Dan: It's the 2015 Nissan Juke. This car comes equipped with a 1.6L 4-cylinder engine, CVT transmission, Moonroof, Premium Cloth, Tech and Cold Weather Packages. Furnished by Moses Nissan. This car is worth.... (Theme ends, applause dies down) Me: Here we are. The prizes are up there. I will tell you that the Mystery Money space contains cash anywhere between $1 and $5000. (Audience woos) Avoid the Joker at all costs. Which prize would you like?

Me: Dan, what's the good news about the loveseat? (Vamped theme) Dan: Modern comfort is combined with an inviting aesthetic to make Parker the choice for the discerning reclining consumer. The sloped track-arm that is topped with a knife-edge pillow pad is the framework for the waterfall chaise pad seat. Bucket seating enhances the comfort. Visual and ergonomic interest is added with horizontal pulls located on the back and chaise pad. Furnished by Flexsteel, worth $2895. Me: However, will this card look good in your hand? (audience groans) Me: No chance of a grand slam today, but you can still win the car. Would you like to keep the 3 or take the top card? (Audience shouts suggestions)

The three is out of play. So, Sophie, what is the top card? Perhaps, we'll see a bunch of low cards like the last bonus round, eh? The loveseat has been banked. Do you wish to pick another prize or stop with the love seat? (Audience yells suggestions)

(applause from audience) As I said earlier, the mystery money cash pot contains anywhere between $1 and $5000. (walks over to the board) Today, it has.......(removes $XXXX card) $1680! (More applause, few cheers) Right now, you have over $4500 in your account. Let's hope there is no joker behind the mystery money. It's a four. Keep it, and you'll have 8. You can take the top card instead if you wish. What's your pleasure? (Audience yells suggestions)

Me: Of course, when you take the top card, it is important to remember that Sophie's deck never contains a joker. Having that said, Sophie, what's the next card? Sophie: This is going to be interesting... Me: Clément, you have two choices on the board remaining. If you get a nine or a combination of two cards totaling 9, you win the car and the prizes chosen. If you go over or find the joker, you lose the $1680 cash and the loveseat. You have a decision to make. Do you want to choose another prize, or stay with what you have? (Audience shouts out suggestions)

Me: Dan, he's going to go on a picnic. Please tell us that ants will not be included. (Vamped theme) Dan: (chuckles) Of course, not, Joe! This 32-piece collection with wine glasses, outdoor blanket, and a wooden bench for your enjoyment. This package is worth $520. (Applause) Me: Then again, the joker can ruin a picnic as well. Let's take a look at the card.... (Scattered Groans) Me: It's not the joker card, but it wasn't the nine. There are lots of things to consider here. Do you want to keep the 5 or go for the top card?

(Cheers and applause) Me: The audience applauses your bravery. The only cards that can ruin you are 10s and face cards. However, if the top card is a nine, you will have won over $52,000 in cash and prizes (oohs) Good luck. (long pause) Sophie, show us the top card. Sophie: It's an upside-down 9. Me: Oh, dear. That puts you up to 18. You didn't bust, but it gives you a lot to think about. You currently have over $5000 in cash and prizes on account, and you have an 18. You can freeze and take the prizes. Should you win tomorrow's championship round, you will win the trip around the world and play a joker-less bonus round. Or, you can play your last turn and try to find the three. Do so, and you retire with over $52,000 in cash and prizes. Big decision, what's it going to be? Remember, we have yet to see an ace which would give you a fourth prize to keep. Me: Do you play it safe or take a risk? (Audience shouts suggestions)

I'm playing it safe and stop at 18.

(Applause) I think the audience agrees with your choice. You're adding another $5095 to your winnings, but for fun, let's play Devil's Advocate. You said you would have gone for the grill. Go ahead and spin that card around. (Audience Groans) You would have been safe with a deuce. Had you gone for the cameras, you would have won the car. However, $5095 is not a bad haul for a bonus round run. This gives you a four day total in cash and prizes: (Cheers and whistles) Since your final total was 18, we will add $1800 to the grand slam jackpot making it worth $28,100.
