Not a "vacation" as such, but if I am participating in net games I may not respond immediately as I live in Sydney, and my work hours will clash with America's "primetime" hours.
(We'd just finished our Daylight savings period, so at the time of this post it's 2:30pm in Sydney on Sunday and 9:30pm in Los Angeles on Saturday.)
