Youtube is a great resource for watching old classing game shows.
I re-watched the first Play the Percentages game from 1980 with Geoff Edwards as host.
The theme song for me is hyper-inducing, especially when the percent sign would go across the bottom of the screen!
In the early 80s I had an electric typewriter and sometimes I would just hold down the percent key so now I'm going to do that here to get this out of my system...
"Play the Percentages!!!!!"
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
Such a pity they changed the format. The married couples concept and the way the game had been played was superb I thought!
I find myself wishing I could revive it on here, but question material is not easy to come by, let alone getting percentages of people who answered them correctly.
