I will not mention names, but a controversial long-time radio host passed away on February 17th, after a long battle with lung cancer.
This individual used to smoke cigars and no doubt contributed toward his condition. Seems rather ironic that one who died from smoking would pass away on Ash Wednesday of all days.
Two other ironies, one, this individual's birth date was January 12th, the same as one of my cousins.
The other irony, this person died on the same date as my cousin's wife did back in 2009.
For me, the death of Batman's Adam West back in 2017 resonated with me big time. He died on June 9th 2017, which was the 16th anniversary of the date my Mother passed.
