All right, we're ready to start. All deadlines are 48 hours and here we go. (cue 1979-2007 COD music) Rich: Get set America! It's your chance to come on down! (clips of big wins from daytime version are shown along with reactions from both the contestant as well as Bob for 1972-2007 clips and Drew Carey for 2008-present clips) From the Bob Barker Studio at CBS in Hollywood, home of America's games and the world's most fabulous prizes, it's The Price Is Right! (cue 1972-2007 main theme) And now, here's the star of The Price Is Right, Mark Liotta! (I come out from door number two to a tremendous applause from the audience. Rachel hands me the microphone) Me: Welcome to The Price Is Right! (audience continues their cheering) Oh, I can tell that we're going to have a lot of fun today. (Theme fades out) You want me to give away some prizes, don't you? Audience: yeah! Me: Well I can't give anything away unless I have a contestant up here, you know. Rich, would you get a contestant up here for me please? Rich: Certainly, Mark. Matt Riggenberg, come on down! You're the first contestant on The Price Is Right! Me: And here comes Matt making his way down the isles, high fiving everyone he passes. Now he's making his way onto the stage. (Matt joins me on the stage) Matt, it's a pleasure to have you here. Now Matt, this is our first show on our new network, and we thought that it would be appropriate to give you a chance to win some nice stuff. Rich, what do we have that Matt can win? Rich: Well Matt, how about a digital smoker? From Bradley, this six rack digital smoker features full digital controls for custom settings, temperature, time and smoke and automatic shut off. Also includes rectangular tray and drip bowl. Or Matt, maybe you'd like to win a brand new car! The 2014 Chevrolet Cruze LS comes with the standard features plus 1.6 liter engine, automatic transmission, paint sealant, fabric protectant and cargo mat. The Chevrolet Cruze. Me: And you can win one of those prizes playing Any Number. Now, this was the first game ever played on the daytime show back in 1972 and it's kicking off our series here too. Light up the first number in the price of the car for us please. (ding)
CAR: 1 _ _ _ _ SMOKER: _ _ _ PIGGY: _ . _ _ It's a 1. Each number 0 through 9 is on the board, including another 1. You give us numbers, we light them up. Whatever price you finish first, that's the prize you win. What number do you want first, Matt?

(Back to the studio) All right Rich, we need another contestant up here on this stage. Can you get one for me? Rich: I sure can. Evan Hatfield, come on down! You're the next contestant on The Price Is Right! Me: And Evan's making his way down to the stage, giving thumbs up to the people he passes by. Now he's here on the stage. Howdy, Evan. Now Evan, you look like the kind of person that can use some money. Well, I have the perfect offering for you, don't I Rich? Rich: You sure do. Evan, you have a chance to win $10,000 in cash! Me: $10,000 in cold hard cash. All of which will be yours if you can prevent our mountain climber from going off the cliff. And he won't fall off if you know enough about the three prizes that Rich is about to tell you about. Rich, tell him about the prizes that we're using today. Rich: With pleasure, Mark. First up is the brand new Doctor Who DVD entitled Doctor Who: The Time Of The Doctor. This historic episode of the popular Doctor Who series is bound to be an adventure for the ages. Next up is a programmable coffee maker. Wake up to a freshly brewed, hot cup of coffee every morning with the Mr. Coffee programmable coffee maker. Finally, a water filtration pitcher. The pour-through lid makes refills fast and easy. From Brita. There they are, Mark. Me: All right Evan, what do you believe is the price of the DVD.

He says $19 for the DVD. Is that right? (buzzer) No. Now, the mountain climber will move one step for every dollar you've missed the price. (The mountain climber begins going up the mountain, only to stop after a few seconds on the sixth step) And he has stopped. The price of the DVD is $13. On we go to the coffee maker. How much do you think the coffee maker is worth, Evan?

He says $31. Is that right? (buzzer) No it is not and away he goes again. (Mountain climber starts his ascent again and stops upon reaching step 17) And he has stopped again. The price is $20. Now Evan, listen to me very carefully. The mountain climber is currently sitting on step 17. You can miss the price of this last prize by $8 one way or the other and still win. How much do you think the water pitcher is worth, Evan?

He says $35 for the water pitcher. Is that right? (buzzer) No. Now, he can only move eight more steps safely. (Mountain climber begins climbing again, but stops on 22) And he only moved five! (winning bells, followed by 1972 main theme) The price is $35 and you're a winner! Congratulations, Evan! You win the ten grand as well as those three prizes you just bid on. More, more I say, after this message. (Fade to commercial)

(Back to the studio) Me: Rich, I need another player up here to try and win some nice prizes. Rich: In that case, I shall call upon Steven Anderson! Come on down, you're the next contestant on The Price Is Right! Me: And Steven is fighting his way through the back row to get to the isle. Now he's reached the isle and he's coming on down. Now he's here and I welcome him to the stage. Steven, I hope you leave the stage with this in your possession. Rich: An outdoor kitchen island. From Summerset Outdoor Living, this kitchen island includes gas grill, fridge and umbrella. We're also including a ten piece grilling set. From Summerset Outdoor Living. Me: And I think that would be a fine prize for you, Steven. Now, I will be more than happy to give you that prize; but, in order for me to that, you have to tell me whether the price is $9,635 or $8,921. You tell me correctly and that kitchen island is yours. What do you want to go with, Steven?

He says that the price is $9,635. (Rachel removes the $8,921 price tag) Let's hope that when I press this button, you will have a new kitchen island. (I press the button to reveal the price, which is $8,921. buzzer) No. $8,921 was what we needed. (cue 1972 main theme) However, you're going to spin the big wheel, and you're going to do it after this. (Fade to commercial)

(Back to the studio) All right, it is showcase showdown time on The Price Is Right. Each of you will have up to two spins to try and get as close to $1 as you can without going over. If you should get exactly $1 in one spin or a combination of two spins, we'll give you $1,000 and a bonus spin. In the bonus spin, if the wheel lands on one of the green sections, you get an additional $10,000. But if the wheel lands on the $1 on the bonus spin, you get an additional $25,000! Now, whoever has the highest score after everyone has spun will advance to the showcase, and then after that, the other two players will have a spin off to determine the other showcase participant. With that in mind, I call upon Steven to spin the wheel. (Steven spins the wheel) Steven, I think that in your first spin, you are going to end up with............................
20
Twenty cents. Do you want to spin again?
