Hi all,
The remnants of this hurricane will be heading up to our area later tonight and a good part of today tomorrow.
While I try to remain hopeful that we won't lose power or internet, I'm anticipating that it may be a distinct possibility so if I suddenly go "off the grid", that is most likely why.
I'll try to log in from work but quite often when we lose power here at home, we lose it at the office too and they have no back up generator there.
On top of that, we're having a plumbing issue in our house and the plumber is due to come out sometime tomorrow to hopefully be able to fix it.
And thanks to my slipping and falling on my back earlier this morning when stepping into the shower to get ready for work, it caused me to knock the toilet off of its seal, so the plumber may have to reseal it.
Two weeks ago we had an ant infestation in our kitchen. Lots of other stuff going on, coupled with this seemingly never-ending pandemic and the relentless heat, it has your old host here feeling more than a bit drained...if you'll pardon the plumbing pun there.
I seem to be okay after my fall, mostly shaken up, a tad bit of soreness but I was able to get up and shower and am walking fine. Just feeling really wiped out is all, in spite of a decent night's sleep.
Stay well and stay safe, especially in the shower! Janet Leigh could have used that advice (chuckling).
Best, Bill a.k.a. "The Fall Guy"
