Higher than a 2... [DING, APPLAUSE]...a 6. Do you want to play this card or freeze, Michael?

Post by larsonfan1 on Feb 19, 2015 15:06:01 GMT -5
I'll freeze.
Post by tmann3x on Feb 22, 2015 12:15:43 GMT -5
And we'll move Michael's freeze bar as he's now two cards away from a tie ball game and the $2,000 cash card. Question 2 coming up... *grabs card* Kevin... we've asked 100 psychiatrists-- Is a wife’s success in business a threat to the marriage? How many of them say it is a threat to the marriage on a wife's success in business?

I can't see it being a threat but then again I'm not a psychiatrist and I'm not married. I think some husbands would be jealous, especially if he's in the business word as well. I'll say 35 out of 100.

[DING]35 out of 100 psychiatrists say it is a threat to the marriage on a wife's success in business. What do you think, Michael... higher or lower?

I believe it's going to be a little bit higher.

I believe it's going to be a little bit higher. Any reasons why you think it's higher, Michael?
Post by larsonfan1 on Feb 24, 2015 15:10:11 GMT -5
I believe that a man still might think it's a threat on marriage because they want to seem like the tough/ successful one in the marriage.

[DING]We all just want to make sure specifically about your answer. Kevin says 35 and Michael says it's higher... the actual number of psychiatrists say it is a threat to the marriage on a wife's success in business is-- [DING-DING-DING, APPLAUSE]9. Not higher... it is lower. Kevin... you're looking at a Jack. Do you want to play off your base card or change it?

If it's lower, not only you tie the game up... but also win an additional $2,000. Lower than a Jack...? Yes... and we have a tie game! [WINNING BELL SOUNDS, WIN CUE, CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]$500 for winning round 2 and $2,000 in bonus cash... a total of $2,500 cash. How do you feel winning 2 1/2 grand, Michael?

I'm sure you'll spend it wisely after the show, Mr. Koontz. After two rounds, we have a tie game. The Bella Twins have now placed three cards for both players. Do you know what that means, folks...? That's right... it's time to play a one-question SUDDEN DEATH match. Someone's gonna win it all on this final play of the cards. Michael... we've asked 100 passengers-- Would you fly on an airplane if the Captain came aboard wearing a parachute? How many of them says they would fly on a plane and the captain wears a parachute?

Post by larsonfan1 on Mar 1, 2015 16:42:35 GMT -5
I'm going to say that is a low number, so I'll say 17 of them.

[DING]17 out of 100 say they would fly on an airplane and the Captain wears a parachute. Higher or lower, Kevin...?

Tough spot. I wouldn't say it's safe and it would cause some panic if that ever happened. However, I think it's going to be a little higher than 17.

[DING]This will determine control of the cards. Michael says 17 and Kevin says it's higher... The actual number of passengers say they would fly on an airplane and the Captain wears a parachute is-- [DING-DING-DING, APPLAUSE]8. Not higher... it is lower. Now Michael... before you call on the cards, I'm gonna turn over both base cards. You have a King... while Kevin has an Ace. You have a decision to make... do you want to play on your King (you may change the card if you want), or pass it to Kevin and must play on his Ace. Make one mistake and the winner will be playing the Money Cards. Play or pass, Michael?

I'll play and go Lower.

The challenger is going for it. Lower than a King? [BUZZER, AUDIENCE GROANS]No... so that means Kevin is still our champion! [WINNING BELL SOUNDS, WIN CUE #2, CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Kevin... come on over and stand at the Goodson mark. Michael... you have played a great game. $500 for winning the round and a $2,000 cash bonus. In addition to some parting gifts for you backstage, you'll be leaving us here a cash total of $2,500. Give it up for Michael C. Koontz, everyone... [CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]The voting is over folks. And when we return in just a moment, Kevin will be playing a special #UDecide edition of the Money Cards. Will he be playing the Car Game, the Audience Poll, or the Play Your Cards Right UK rules Poll? Stay tuned for the answer next on Card Sharks. We'll be right back. [CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]*fade to commercial*
