Risking it higher than a 5... [DING, APPLAUSE]It's a 6! Be careful with that middle card, Kevin. Play or freeze?

Freeze!

Post by tmann3x on Feb 7, 2015 14:08:54 GMT -5
We'll move the freeze bar for Kevin and needs one more card to win the first game of the match. *grabs card* Kevin... here's an Educated Guess question... According to a CBS News poll, they've asked the internet viewers to this question... Abortion should be generally available to those who want it. Abortion should be available but under stricter limits than it is now. Abortion should not be permitted. Which of these comes closest to your view?
What percentage did they vote for Generally Available?

I'm sure everyone's opinion on abortion has changed since Roe V. Wade. With the medical advances we have now, I don't think people are as welcoming. I'm going to say 20% said generally available.

[DING]20% of the viewers say abortion should be generally available to those who want it. Higher or lower, Michael?

I believe that the number is just a tiny bit higher.

I believe that the number is just a tiny bit higher. Any reasons why you think it's higher, Michael?

No, I have my opinions on it but I just think it's a little higher.

[DING]Kevin says 20% and Michael says it's higher... The actual percentage of internet viewers say abortion should be generally available to those who want it is-- [DING-DING-DING, APPLAUSE]39%. Michael is right... it is higher. Michael... you have a 7 as your base card. Do you want to play off your middle card or change it?

I'll change it.

Higher than an 8... [DING-DING-DING, APPLAUSE]It's a $2,000 cash card. If you win this (or round 2), you'll win an additional two grand. Nikki will place the cash in your prize column while Brie hands me a replacement card. Do you still want to call on your 8 higher, Michael?

If it's lower, you win the first game of the match. Is it lower than a Jack...? [BUZZER, AUDIENCE GROANS...]No... it's an Ace. Kevin... it's your turn to call on your 6. Sorry, but you cannot change your card since you didn't win the question.

If it's higher, you win the first game of the match. Higher than a 6...? Yes! [WINNING BELL SOUNDS, WIN CUE 1, CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Kevin... not only that you've won the first round and $500, you've also won this prize. George? [SHOWCASE CUE]George: It's a trip to Chicago![CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]You and a guest will fly round coach from Los Angeles to Chicago, Illinois for a six-night stay at the historic Waldorf Astoria Hotel. Breeze through the Windy City -- and check all the sites and great night life of Chicago. And in addition to the $500 in cash for winning the first game, that brings the total in cash and prizes... $8,715! Congratulations![CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Tony: Thank you, George. While the Bellas clear the board and replace it with a new set of cards, we'll pause effective immediately. We'll be playing round 2 of Card Sharks right after we do a little business for America. *fade to promo* George Gray: Closed Captioning sponsored today by the following--*back to studio* [CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Welcome back to Card Sharks. At the end of the first round, our champion Kevin have won the game including a trip to Chicago and $500. Michael will try his luck on tie up the match. And during the break, Brie & Nikki Bella have placed new set of cards for both players. Let's begin round 2 with our first question for our challenger. *grabs card* Michael... we've asked 100 married men-- Would you share your wife with a friend, as is Eskimo custom? How many of them say they would share their wives with friends?

I believe that the number will be sort of in the middle, so I'll say 46.

[DING]46 out of 100 married men say they would share their wives with friends, as are Eskimo customs. Higher or lower, Kevin?

|
|
Post by koopakid17 on Feb 15, 2015 23:34:31 GMT -5
It's gotta be much lower. I don't think the wives would like that at all. That's why they got married to the one man they love.

[DING][APPLAUSE]Hmm... the audience seem to agree with your answer, Kevin. Let's see if the answer agrees with you and our audience. Michael says 46 of them and Kevin says it's lower... The actual number of married men say they would share their wives with friends, as are Eskimo customs is-- [DING-DING-DING, APPLAUSE]Only 5 of them. Kevin's right... it is way much lower. Let's see if the champ wins this round. Right now, you'll start round 2 with-- --a Jack.
