The Carolina-based "Sqrambled Scuares" is in the process of returning in a virtual form. Just because it taped in the Carolinas and had hyperlocal prizes and contestants, anyone in the English-speaking world can view the show, catch on quickly how the game is played, and shout out, "It's PAPER AIRPLANE!!" Still for the unaware... gameshows.fandom.com/wiki/Sqrambled_Scuares...full disclosure, I was a volunteer writer during its last season or two. Just recently, I gave a round of gameplay and a new Super Sqramble bonus round a test drive. I'm scheduled to be a contestant in a pilot episode Wednesday night. A completed pilot is on... www.facebook.com/Sqrambled-Scuares-109127177471895/

Update: The pilot finished taping about 30 minutes ago. Sometime tonight, the episode will appear on the Facebook page linked in the first message of this thread.
If you've seen "Sqrambled Scuares" in its previous run (the "Myrtle Beach years" are still on YouTube; just search "Sqrambled Scuares" with intentional misspellings and you should be good), the pilot's main game was unchanged. The bonus round, a.k.a. "Super Sqramble", deviated from the "Countdown"-style conundrum and played more of a race against the clock in a battle with more missers. Best to see for yourself than to explain here.
No word on when this "goes to series". Hopefully soon.
