We have made it to double digit territory on Tic Tac Dough. JC Hines is our returning champion with a 1-game total of $1,000. I need him to check in and I need an opponent to face him. Who'd like to play?
(Note: The last person to play was Bill McDee. I ask that you sit this episode out before trying again.)

I'm gonna re-edit the SFX with new links coming up later this weekend. That'd be fantastic. I'm going to start the show and just put the text for the cues that aren't audience applause. Once you have the new SFX links, I'll insert them in.

Our champion is here. Let's go ahead and begin.
V.O: You're watching CBS!
(opening theme)
Rich: From Television City in Hollywood, it's everybody's game of strategy, knowledge and fun! It's Tic Tac Dough!
And now, here is the host of our show, Frank Sartori!
Me: Thank you Rich Fields! Thank you folks! Welcome to another game of Tic Tac Dough. We're glad you could tune in tonight. Hope you'll play along with our two fine contestants. Speaking of which, Rich is going to tell us who's here to play tonight.
(beginning of contestant intro)
Rich: In the circle position is an avid video game collector from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Here's Mark Liotta!
And in the X position is our returning champion with a 1-game total of $1,000. A freelance photographer from Branson, Missouri. Please welcome JC Hines!
Me: Welcome to the both of you. Let's start with our champion JC. Last time you were here, you found the dragon on your first trip to the bonus board. You only picked up a grand. How do you think you will do on tonight's program?

Well hopefully I’ll win again and get redemption this time around. But with COVID-19 keeping me at home for a little while, I could really use some money to put back towards my mortgage.

As I say on another program, a lot depends on the categories. Regardless, we wish you the best of luck. Let's meet your challenger. Mark Liotta is from Canada. I understand you are a collector of video games. Is there one particular video game you are currently searching for?

Funny you ask because I just bought Kirby Canvas Curse for the DS off eBay this afternoon. However, I do want to add both Glover and Paper Mario to my N64 collection. Glover because I've never owned a copy of the game before or played it and Paper Mario because of the new game coming out for the Switch soon

If you win tonight, you might be able to continue your collection. Good luck to you and good luck to both players. Let's get going with this first game of Tic Tac Dough. Let's see what the categories are.
We have Auto Racing, The Human Body, Science, the Secret category, Fairy Tales, Words, Explorers, The Olympics and Opponent's Choice. For the Secret category, if you answer that question correct, we'll double all of the cash that's in the pot. For opponent's choice, your opponent will have a choice of two categories to give you. If you are correct, you earn the box. Outside boxes are worth $200, while the center box is a two-part question worth $300 in which you'll have extra time to think about it. As always, we start with our champion which is J.C. Whenever you are ready, pick a category. Good luck players!

Starting the game off with Words. J.C., here is your question under the category of Words.
In Australia, they are called "coppers"; in America they are known as what? For the box, name it.

Ooh that's too bad.
I'm surprised the word coppers didn't give it away. The correct answer we were looking for was pennies. So no box there. No money in the pot. Let's shuffle the board.
Mark, it's your selection.

Alright Mark. Here comes your question under Auto Racing.
What auto racing star made her European racing debut in 1998, competing in the Formula Vauxhall winter series? For the box, name her.

The correct answer we were going for was Danica Patrick. I'm surprised you didn't get this. Oh well. We still have $400 in the pot. Let's shuffle.
