(scattered groans) Very well. Now just like normal Big 6, you don't want to roll a 1 and a 5. That's just as bad as doubles -- and would reduce the money accordingly. (audience cheers as...) (Patrick rolls)Once again -- easy choice to make with the 4 and 5. Five's gone -- so... (ding) ...4 gives you a D. What's your guess for $2500, Patrick?

(scattered groans) Sounds like some of you figured it out. Please keep your answers to yourselves at Patrick rolls for the fourth and final time. (audience cheers as...) (Patrick rolls)And a choice of 2 or 3 on the last roll.

(ding) And it's an A. Ta-daahhhhh. (scattered laughter from crowd) But seriously, this is your last guess for $1250. The right answer pays 1250. A wrong answer means a $500 consolation prize. Good luck and give it a guess, Patrick.

(audience groans) Since we're playing this mainly for funsies, I'm going to make an executive decision. Patrick, if you took the 3 instead of the 2, I bet ya you would've nailed it. Wally, please decrease the value of the game to $750 and reveal the letter at 3. (ding) *Now* what's this event, Patrick, for 750?

Now to test our next game. Its title has been shared by two different game shows; the artwork is based on one of them.
The gameplay is based upon a Plinko-style game seen on lottery game shows such as IIR and The Big Spin.
Who wants to try this one? (Someone other than Patrick, please; let's spread the wealth.)

Sure. Tiffany, please tell Bill what he's playing for. (spoilers theme from DD76 plays; audience cheers) Tiffany: Bill, you've got a chance to win up to $16,000 in cash!Yes, $16,000 can be yours in Double Dare. Wally, please set us up. (FF reveal sfx) All right, Bill, here's how the game works. You'll be using just one dice cube to eliminate as many of those numbers as you can. If you roll a number that's on the board, Wally will remove it and you'll win $500. *But* if you repeat a number, that's a strike. Three strikes and you lose the game plus any money you've won along the way. So after two strikes, I'll give you a chance to stop -- while also putting the double dare in play. Right now, you'll make money on your first.
[Bill, please respond with a roll code from 1-93. You'll see the result of that roll and as many as the next seven rolls down the list of dice rolls provided by randomizer.org.]

You are on a roll (audience cheers as Bill rolls specially made DD76 cube) Boom! $500 for the 3. (ding)Five numbers to go for $16,000. (audience cheers as Bill rolls) (audience groans)(buzz)A 3 again. First strike for you, Bill. Shake it off and try it again. (audience cheers as Bill rolls) There ya go -- a 5. (ding)Four numbers away from 16 large. (audience cheers as Bill rolls) And there's a 6. (ding)$1500 and you're halfway to $16,000. (audience cheers as Bill rolls) And there's a 2. (ding)The 1 and 4 are left, Bill. Keep on rolling. (audience cheers as Bill rolls) Boom! $500 for the 3. (audience groans)(buzz)That 3 again! Okay, Bill, here's where the double dare comes into play. If you do roll another 3, 2, 5, or 6, you lose the $2000 you currently have. On the other hand, instead of playing for $500 a number -- you're playing for double or nothing. If you take our double dare and roll a 1 or a 4, you don't win another $500, your current winnings double to $4000. (audience cheers) And if you keep going and roll the remaining number, we augment your winnings to $16,000. (audience cheers) So -- do you stop and keep the $2000 -- or roll onward for a possible $4000? (audience shouts suggestions)

Since the odds are 2 to 1 against me of winning, and I would only get paid even odds if I gambled, I will end the game here and take the $2,000.

(audience cheers) Taking the $2000 and running. Very well. But -- before we cut you that $2000 check, you must realize that we are Anthony Mason types of folks -- (scattered laughter from crowd) -- who adhere to the belief you're right to know overrides your right to exist. (more laughter from crowd) If you took the double dare, what would've happened? This won't count. (Bill rolls) (audience cheers)And that would've put $2000 down the drain instead of in your pocket. Bet you're glad you bailed out at the right time.

Okay, next game is based upon a HR87 special game -- that actually didn't make it beyond the pilot.
Who wants to try it? This is open to anyone who hasn't played in this thread yet.

I am an assistant manager for Dollar General in Columbus. I enjoy SEC Football and NASCAR. When possible I binge on any Star Trek and the original Law & Order.

Great to have you here from Columbus. I know that city well. Three of my relatives call Columbus home at different points in time. Let's see if you can take this back to Columbus. (prize music) Tiffany: Bryan, this is a good time to tell you that you could win a Rolex watch. (audience cheers) This men's water-resistant Rolex watch features a dial with 18-karat gold markers. It's a timeless prize worth $5700. (audience cheers) And that prize could be yours in a game we call... ...Monkey Business! (scattered laughter and applause) And in order to play Monkey Business, we need a monkey. Mr. Monkey, enter and sign in, please. (more laughter and applause) Sorry to tear you away from martini time, Mr. Monkey, but we've got a game to play. Bryan, simple game. You roll two dice and Mr. Monkey rolls two dice. If the sum of your roll is higher than Mr. Monkey's, you win. In the event of a tie, you take the tie. (Mr. Monkey gives tie-break rule thumbs down; scattered laughter from crowd) So, when you're ready, Bryan, you are on a roll. [Bryan, please respond with a roll code from 1-100.]

(audience cheers as...) (Bryan rolls Cover Up dice)And the roll is a 7. (ding) Mr. Monkey, this means you have to roll a total higher than 7 to make Bryan walk away from the dice table empty-handed. So -- pick up the dice, please. (long pause; scattered laughter from crowd) Sometime today. (long pause; scattered laughter from crowd) Sometime before the Norah O'Donnell evening news. (more laughter) Shelly: (walking in with gold-plated dice) Perhaps Mr. Monkey would rather play the game with these dice. (scattered laughter and applause) Oh -- sure -- Mr. Monkey is also Mr. Big Shot. (more laughter; Mr. Monkey immediately grabs dice from Shelly's hands) And also Mr. Greedy. (Mr. Monkey claps dice together) All right, enough monkey business -- even though that's the name of the game. (audience cheers as...) (Mr. Monkey rolls gold-plated dice)And it's a 3! Bryan you win! (dings; SCSD win theme plays; audience cheers)Mr. Monkey had gold-plated dice -- but you end up with a Rolex watch, Bryan. How do you feel?

[NOTE FROM DOUG: I'm constructing a game similar to that of TPiR's Bonus Game. Artwork's not ready yet. With Easter weekend nearing, this is a good time to put this thread on pause. Stay safe everybody.]

We're back to resume this thread.
Bad news: The Bonus Game-style game is on hold due to, believe it or not, complicated concepts.
Good news: Two new games were built and a third was rebuilt from OAR After Dark. We'll be playing Grand Prix -- which was known as Fast Lane on OAR After Dark with Tony.
Who wants to take the green flag for Grand Prix? We're looking for anyone who hasn't played in this thread this time.
