Well, it's just got worse. Over a couple of days, Houston Astros accused of sign-stealing that went back in 2017 when they in our regular season (along with the World Series) are champions, but in using of technology to use it illegally, they fired A.J. Hinch and Jeff Luhnow and the team fined $5 million dollars under MLB's constitution. People were a lot of anger when it's caught on the news and even LeBron James calls it earlier!
What do you guys think of this?

Cheating has always been a part of baseball, just a matter of to what degree.
The 1919 Chicago Black Sox scandal, the steroids era, pitchers' doctoring of baseballs, Pete Rose's betting and lifetime ban, and this current situation with the Houston Astros.
Thinking outside the box for just a moment, the single biggest cheating scandal in Major League Baseball's long and storied history was the fact that it wasn't until 1947 that Major League Baseball began to integrate.
Prior to 1947, talented black players were simply not allowed to play in Major League Baseball. To me that was the ultimate cheating scandal, countless hundreds if not thousands of gifted and talented players were cheated of the opportunity to play in the major leagues.
Yet in spite of all of these "stains" on the game, including the player strikes in 1981 and 1994, baseball has continued to pick itself up, dust itself off, and start again.
Another thing MLB is cheating is the future for itself. 8:30pm start times for playoff games and World Series games has really hurt television ratings. Sadly, this will not change. The last daytime World Series game played was Game 7 of the 1987 World Series, and that was played indoors. The last outdoor day World Series game took place in 1984.
This situation with the Astros is akin to a college football team being put on probation. The team suffers, but players who were a part of those cheating teams who have left the Astros pretty much get off scott free.
It is unfortunate that this happened, especially since it could have affected and perhaps did affect the outcome of the 2017 World Series. I once was a very passionate sports fan but that passion has dwindled considerably over the past 15 or so years. I still am passionate about the history of the NFL and MLB, but the current stuff not so much.
Baseball will move past this, hopefully learn from this, and take measures that they can implement to prevent such an unfortunate thing from ever happening again.
We've seen first hand on these very boards that cheating is not tolerated, nor should it be. The game's the thing, and it's wrong to cause any black marks on the game, whether it's Major League Baseball, or a simple simulated game show that we all enjoy participating in here so very much.

Now, Little League teams are dropping the Astros name, good for them.
