I just found out that Kobe Bryant died at age 41. R.I.P to the legend.

I was just getting ready to post about it, just found out myself.
So very sad indeed.

I just finished watching an hour-long special report simulcast on ABC and ESPN. Even the most seasoned of professionals had a hard time putting emotion in check.
I'm a Spurs fan -- but I can assure you Kobe represented the Lakers, and basketball, with an amazing sense of professionalism.

As a Knicks fan, I agree that Kobe was the best player of his generation (both with the Lakers and the entire NBA).

Even Kobe has an impact on people who don’t watch basketball regularly like myself. It is just gut wrenching that we lost him this soon. It’s also unfortunate that his daughter and 7 others were killed as well. Kobe will always be remembered, no matter what arises.
