Let's do it. All deadlines are 48 hours and here we go. (cue intro) Rich: And now, a game of high stakes, where every decision is a gamble and every move could be your last. High Rollers! (cue theme) And here's the man with all the action, Mark Liotta! (I come out to a tremendous applause from the audience) Me: Thank you! Thank you, Rich and thank you audience. (Theme ends) Welcome to another fun filled edition of High Rollers. We had an exciting bonus round yesterday where it came down to only one number left on the board, but the dice got the best of our champion again. Speaking of our champion, let's get him out here along with his challenger. Rich, introduce our players please. Rich: Player 1 is our returning champion Matt Riggenberg, who works as a courtesy clerk at Council Bluffs, Iowa. Matt's one day total is $19,855. And challenging him today is James Greek. Me: James, how does it feel to be on the show again?

Then you are certainly a loyal friend and true as Bob Barker would put it. All right, let's get into our match. (I walk over to my podium) The object of our game is to eliminate as many numbers as possible from our nine number board. Any time a double is rolled, you get an insurance marker to protect yourself from bad rolls. First player to win two games wins the match and goes on to the Big Numbers for a shot at $25,000. We also have some prizes that you guys could take home with you today. Rich, tell us about those prizes if you please. Rich: In column one, a trip to Belize. You'll fly round trip from Los Angeles to Belize for a six night stay at the Xanadu Hotel. You'll also enjoy an inner tubing adventure and a ride along a zip line. This prize is worth $7,534. Me: That sounds good to me. Anything in column two, Rich? Rich: Most definitely. In column two, a new pool table. Comes in a matte finish and includes all the necessary accessories. From Golden West Billiards. This prize is worth $3,095. Me: And what's in column three? Rich: In column three, we have $10,000 in cold hard cash! Me: That gives us a total value of $20,629 cash and prizes for our round one board. Let's get the numbers loaded up, shall we?
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 And column one is our hot column for this round. Get a 12 and you could be off to Belize. But as is the case with all prizes, a player must win the round in order to claim it. And in order to have a shot at those prizes, you need control of the dice. And in order to have control of the dice, you need to win a jump in question. So let's get to a jump in right now. The first man in history to walk on the moon did so in 1969 and then passed away in 2012 shortly after his 82nd birthday. Name this famous person.

The eight and the two!

The eight and the two come off the board.
1 X 3 4 5 6 7 X 9
All you need for that pool table is a five. You also get an insurance marker for that double. (I hand James an insurance marker) And here's our next question, which is multiple choice. Three of a kind, four of a kind or five of a kind, the one that is NOT a valid poker hand.

A three. There's only one way to take it off, the three itself.
1 X X 4 5 6 7 X 9
And here's our next question. Who said the famous quote "Always look beyond what you can see"?

(buzzer) Only one bad roll on the whole board and it had to show up. I'm so sorry, Matt. James, you win round one. (Game win sfx) I think that's the quickest round we've ever had on High Rollers. We'll take a break right now and we'll go to round two in just a moment. (Fade to commercial)

(Back to the studio) Welcome back to High Rollers. We just had what I do believe is the fastest first round in the history of High Rollers, a round that was won by James. And James, since I neglected to mention this before the break, you pick up the house minimum of $500 for winning that round since no prizes were claimed. And because no prizes were claimed, we'll leave them where they are and hope somebody claims them in this round. Matt, you have to win this round in order to stay alive. Let's load up the numbers.
9 4 8 6 5 7 1 2 3 And the middle column is our hot column this time. Roll an eleven and one of you could end up with a pool table. Let's get to our first question right now. Chinese wedding tradition dictates that the couple and their guests enjoy a performance known as what?

He wants the five and two removed.
9 4 8 6 X 7 1 X 3
All you need is a 4 to claim that pool table. Here's the next question. What's the minimum age to drink or gamble in Las Vegas?
