(Tichina touches screen) And it's an S. Evan, you may guess the bottom clue or roll again. Every roll beyond doubles will still work with one roll left.

I'm going to need that roll, I think.

All right, last roll coming up. Matthew's hoping for doubles. (audience cheers as...) (Evan rolls)And another low roll -- a 1 and a 3 -- or a 4.

That 4 in the middle, please.

(Tichina touches screen) And we are ending this round with an R. Evan, you may still guess the middle row's clue if you'd like. A wrong guess or a pass means another name game.

Oh! Laurie Strode.

(dings; audience cheers) Oh -- that's it. Well -- Evan -- now you have a chance to solve the puzzle. The right answer means a tie match. A wrong answer means another name game.

Well, I'm a bit of a film buff, so once Laurie Strode finally clicked for me, I recognized the name and drew a few conclusions, and when I looked at what we have of the top clue, the rest just kind of fell into place from there.

Well, just for funsies -- and because I've got a floor director showing me "stretch"... ...what are the other two clues?

Top one is MICHAEL MYERS - bottom one, hmm... SLASHER FILMS?

Let's have a look. (FF reveal sfx) Pretty close. Michael Myers and Laurie Strode were main characters in that slasher *movie* -- although to your point, more sequels followed. Okay -- we're -- going to Big 6 right now. So, I tell ya what, Matthew, please stay here and root for Evan for the next few moments the same way he rooted for you earlier. Evan, please be our guest for the money roll. (audience cheers as...) (Evan rolls)(cha-ching)The 5 and 3 total 8 -- times $5000. So we're playing for $40,000 right now with Wally. Wally, please set up Big 6. (FF reveal sfx) (ding) (FF reveal sfx) Being noisy today, are ya? (scattered laughter from crowd) Evan, as you know, for solving the puzzle with one clue fully revealed, you're entitled to the regular hint and an extra hint for this Big 6 word. Overall, you're hint is Wally's suggestion of visiting a certain city in Brazil. To clarify, this word is a proper noun. We've verified it with a gazetteer. Four rolls to play with, Evan. You -- are on a roll. (audience cheers as...) (Evan rolls)And we start with a choice of the 4th or 5th letter.

Fifth letter, please, Wally. (ding) It's an N. One guess only for $40,000, Evan, what is this Brazilian city?

(buzz buzz) No guess from the champ. So Wally drops the value of the word down to $5000. Please roll again. (audience cheers as...) (Evan rolls)(scattered further cheers) And it's a 1 and a 5. You've already played the 5, Evan. Automagically, Wally gives you the first letter. (ding) Yes, I said "automagically" and I can't believe it either. (scattered laughter from crowd) You now have an L and an N. Evan, do you have a guess for $5000?

(buzz buzz) Okay. You want to avoid doubles and a 1-5 combination. So let's see if this next roll for $2500 help. (audience cheers as...) (Evan rolls)(scattered further cheers) And it's a *4* and a 1. You just played the 1 by default early. (ding) Wally instantly gives you the 4th letter -- a U. For $2500, name this Brazilian city.

(buzz buzz) Proving to be quite the stumper. Okay, last roll for $1250. Good luck, Evan. (audience cheers as...) (Evan rolls)And a choice with the final roll in Big 6. Would you like the 3rd or 6th letter?

I want to see that sixth letter, please.

Last letter, please, Wally. (ding) It's an A. The right answer here pays $1250. A wrong answer means $500 consolation. Name this city in Brazil.

(scattered cheers) For $1250, Wally, is it Laguna? (dings; SCSD win theme plays; audience cheers) It is! All right. Well, it's another $1250 for your coffers. Let's see if you can win more at Lucky 7. Wally, please set it up. (FF reveal sfx) Thanks, Wally. Evan, letters in "lucky" hide different cash awards. One of them hides the top payoff of $100,000. Which letter has the hundred grand?

Wally, please show us what's in Y? (ding) $25,000. We know that's the lowest cash award up there. Probably means six rolls of the dice. (ding) And it does. You know how vital it is to avoid those doubles, Evan. So -- you -- are on a roll. (audience cheers as...) (Evan rolls)Starting with a fiver for $500. (ding) Five rolls remain. Come onnnnn, seven! (Evan rolls)Three and six add $900 more. (ding) Up to $1400 now with four rolls remaining. (Evan rolls)Double digit sum -- a 10 for a grand. (ding) $2400 in the kitty now. Three rolls to go. (Evan rolls)Small total of 4 for four more bills. (ding) Knockin' on the door of three large. Let's see if you can win 25 large on *this* roll. (Evan rolls)Smallest sum for a payoff -- a 3. (ding) You're up to $3100 with one roll left. Think you can get a 7 this time?
