Hello friends,
I am close to completing a new idea for a Three On A Match bonus game which will involve decisions and risk taking.
A success at the matching board will qualify the player to select from the Big Money Bonus Match game board.
The Big Money board is similar to PUNCHBOARD on The Price is Right.
If a player makes a Three on a match in 4 picks, they get to select 4 boxes, 5 picks will earn 3 boxes, 6 picks will earn 2 boxes and 1 pick will earn 1 box selection.
More to come before I test this out, mainly working on the visuals now and may add one other element to the Big Money board as well.

Preparing the final touches. I've had the week from Hades at work, my first truly bad week since I began working there full time in early March.
This too shall pass.
Hope to have this testing ready soon.
Who would like to give it a try? I'll explain the rules more during the game itself, it will prove easier that I way I believe.

 Here we are with Hunter Dillon, and a more appropriate name I cannot think of as you Hunter, are on the hunt, to match three lucky symbols on our game board here. You will have a maximum of 7 picks of the board in which to achieve 3 on a match. The sooner you make a match of 3 lucky symbols, the more bonus cash you could earn. Here's how it works. Hidden in the 20 column somewhere is a four leaf clover, a horseshoe and a rabbit's foot. The same 3 items are hidden somewhere in the 30 column, and also in the 40 column. You will call out a column number (20, 30 or 40) and a color (red, green, yellow or blue). You can only call out a maximum of 3 boxes in any given column. Beware however, because hidden in each column is a "STRIKE", and just like in baseball, if you match all three Strikes first, then you're out of the game and win nothing. Random amounts of money will appear with every safe box you select, and during the course of the game you'll have the option to quit and keep that money or try to go for 3 on a match and a chance to win up to $40,000 at the Winner's Big Money Board. One final note, if you match 3 lucky symbols in just 3 picks, your first 3 picks, you automatically will win $50,000! If you have no questions Hunter, select your first box, and the very best of luck to you! |

That sounds so right, hearing "Bill" at the end.....this is for you Mr. Cullen... 20 Red...  Oh boy! That's as good a start as you can get! $1,000 in your bank. (flip)  And a 4 leaf clover. Now you want to try to pair that up by selecting a box from the 30 or 40 column Hunter. Where to now? |

Let us see what 30 on the Blue holds in store for you Hunter... (flip)  Another $300, so we know that box is indeed safe. We're wanting to see another shamrock under that $300 money card... (flip)  No, it's a horse shoe instead. Hunter, you're out of the running to win $50,000 with an instant match at this stage of the game, however... You could still win as much as $40,000 should you match either 2 more shamrocks or 2 more horseshoes with your next two picks from the board. Where to next? |

Let's see what 30 on the Yellow yields... (flip)  Oh boy! Another nice sum! $750 more for you Hunter....and we know it has to either be a Rabbit's Foot or hopefully a Clover. Let's reveal it... Now! (flip)  Oh yes! Splendid, another clover! If you can find the 3rd one in the 40 column on this next pick, you'll have the option to play at the Winner's Big Money Board for up to $40,000!!!! Good luck in finding it! I caution you though, if you hit a strike, you will be required to select a box from one of the other two columns on your next turn, so be careful not to burn! 40 column is what you'll want to go for obviously, do you choose red, green, yellow or blue? |

40 on the Green. First, we're hoping to see another cash award there, and then if so.....that 3rd clover. 40 on the Green... (flip)  Wow another $600 into the pot!  Up to $2,650, no strikes at all, you're in fine shape Hunter, and will be in even finer shape if we uncover that third clover. Is it there?  IT IS!!!!!!!!!! (continuous winning bells) Hunter, that is AS WELL as a player can do here short of an instant match! Since it only took you 4 picks of the 7 you were given, this entitles you to as many as FOUR selections now from our Winner's Big Money Board. Let's have a look see at it...  As you can see by the chart, there are lots and lots of big cash awards on the board, including 30 boxes which will include the randomizer coming up with a cash award for you. There is one "SWAP" card, which you can use to exchange one cash award for another pick at the board. 4 of the 50 boxes contain $10,000 cash awards, and one each of the other various cash awards as you can see as well on the distribution chart. Two are insurance cards. If you have one in hand and you hit a "Wipeout" or the "Half" card, you can, and should, immediately play that insurance card to protect any earnings you have in your bank. There are 2 $0 cards on the board too as you can see. So here's the deal... You can quit now and take your $2,650 guaranteed cash or, you can forfeit it to start picking from the Big Money Board. One final point, after every successful pick from the Big Money board, you will also have the option to stop or risk what you have to try to build it up higher. Do you have any questions Hunter? If so, ask away... if not, my one question to you is, do you want to take the $2,650 money and stop, or forfeit it and try to go for even bigger money at this board now? |

Oh is my face ever red! You know, there are 50 possible choices in the chart but just 40 boxes! (facepalm) This is what happens when you've been off the grid for a year (chuckling)... We will carry on however! (I amended the board slightly, and will do a correct chart when we do beta test #2, my apologies for the gaffe!)  N on the Green had one of those 3 Wipeouts. The good news is you had no money to be wiped out, only 2 left now on the board, and you still have 3 picks left to go and can still accumulate up to $30,000. Which box next? |

Hoping for something better here...  100 to 150 times $50... And the randomizer stops at...  Nice! 138. Multiply that by $50 and that's $6,900 now that you have. You can stop right now if you wish Hunter, or continue as you still have 2 more selections available to you. Lots of good stuff, but still 2 wipeouts and the "half" card lingers too. What do you want to do? |

Going for the gusto! (applause) Sure audience, it isn't YOUR money at risk! I like how you chose one of each color... (peeking at B- Red) Oh Hunter.....if you had stopped you would have had over $12,000 in winnings.... But instead you wind up with...  $21,250!!!!! (win cue) Oh my! A very big payday! Congratulations! Hunter I thank you very much for helping me test out this idea. Folks, I'm going to fine tune this game a bit more, to try to make it more risky and potentially exciting, so more to come soon. |
