The 3 and the 5!

Post by GameShowNetwork on Dec 28, 2014 21:00:18 GMT -5
The 3 and the 5 come off the board.
8 9 X 4 X X X X X
And for clearing column three, we'll put the $10,000 cash prize on your prize board James. You know, though, that you have to win this round in order to win it. Next question coming up right now. What country is sometimes referred to as the land of the rising sun?

Japan is right. All right Michael, take a look at where the board currently stands.
8 9 X 4 X X X X X
4,8,9 and 12 are the only good numbers left. Do you wish to roll the dice or pass them to James?

James, you need a 4,8,9 or 12 to stay alive. Any other number and Michael becomes the champion. Roll the dice and good luck.

The nine baby!

Get that nine off the board.
8 X X 4 X X X X X
And the $7,500 cash prize goes to your prize board, James, because you cleared column two. Here's the next question. How many pounds does a humpback whale weigh?

You say 79,000 pounds and I say you're correct. Now James, there are only two numbers remaining on the board, the 4 and the 8. Those two numbers, as well as 12, are the only good numbers left. Do you want to roll the dice or pass them off to Michael?

Michael, it's all on your shoulders here. You need a 4, an 8 or a 12 to stay alive, otherwise it's a tie game. Good luck, Michael.

It's a five and that's a bad roll. (bad roll sfx) James, you're still alive! (High Rollers game win sfx) James, you have won both the $10,000 and $7,500 cash prizes that were in your prize section. That gives you a total of $17,500 so far. The third round will decide everything when we come back. (Fade to commercial)

(Back to the studio) We're back for our third and deciding game on High Rollers. The outdoor furniture has not been claimed yet, so we'll leave that where it is. But you know, columns two and three seem empty. Let's fill those two columns up with some prizes. Rich: I think that's a good idea. In column two, we have new kitchen appliances. Includes gas range, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and a 13 piece cutlery set. This prize is worth $5,868. Me: That's pretty nice for column two. But we've got something really nice for column three. Rich: In column three, a new car! It's a Dodge Dart SE. Comes with 2 liter engine, six speed manual transmission, convenience group and compact spare tire. The Dodge Dart SE. This set of wheels is worth $19,235. Me: That makes the whole board worth a grand total of $37,622 in this third game. Let's get those numbers loaded in.
4 2 8 6 7 3 9 1 5
And our hot column for this game is column two. If you roll a ten, you could win those kitchen appliances worth almost six grand. All right gentlemen, here's our first question for this deciding game. Who led the National Hockey League in the save percentage category during the 1997-98 season?

You're right. It was indeed Dominik Hasek, or the Dominator as he was called during his playing days. All numbers are good, Michael, so give those dice a roll

The seven comes off the board.
4 2 8 6 X 3 9 1 5
And here's the next question. In British English, what is a moose sometimes called?

Get that six off the board.
4 2 8 X X 3 9 1 5
(I hand James an insurance marker) That little device I just gave you is for rolling the double. It's called an insurance marker and it could prove to be helpful for you. Next question coming up. What is a keyboard known as on a pipe organ?
