Select from more than 50,000 quality items from the catalog or visit them online at Spiegel, Chicago six o six o nine... Frank Caliendo (as Kenny Williams): Some of the material for questions asked on "Gambit P.M." provided by the World Book Encyclopedia, with thousands of new revisions and the input of over 4,000 experts, and 25,000 images. And now, back with the second half of "Gambit P.M.", here's Bill McDee! (applause) That's me! The Any 21 Jackpot was not hit during our last game so it grew by $250, so it's now up to $1,250. Double that for a 2 card 21. Lynn, let's see the first card to start game #2, please. A reminder players, we're still using the same deck of 52 cards that we started with. That's a nice one to shoot for, for a Jack of Clubs players... A - ROUTE 66 B - ADAM 12 A, B, OR BOTH? TELEVISION SERIES STARRING MARTIN MILER picosong.com/9RTa/Kevin? Kevin's answer is "A". I am sorry that is wrong Kevin. James...you'll pick up $100 and control of the Jack if you can tell me. James - "Both!" Correct James! (applause) So another $100 for you James. What do you want to do with that Jack?

(Judges' booth) - Bill?
Bill - Yes Mister Heatmiser? (audience laughter)... I mean Mister Heatter!
(Judges' booth) - The question was misread, it should have been MILNER, not MILER.
Bill - Thank you Merrill. You see folks, Santa's not the only one who's making a list and checkin' it twice!
If that might have caused Kevin to answer incorrectly, and should Kevin lose this match, I'd like to invite Kevin back to episode #8.
James, that Jack is nevertheless yours. What do you want to do with it?

I had a feeling you were going to say that James Next question for $100 and control... A - CRAYOLA CRAYONS B - THE SEWING MACHINE A, B, OR BOTH? INVENTED DURING THE 19TH CENTURY Kevin rings in first.... Kevin says - BOTH... I'm sorry Kevin that's wrong. James? James says - B. I'm sorry, that is also wrong! The Sewing Machine believe it or not was invented in the 18th century, around the 1790s to be specific, so the answer was A, Crayola Crayons. Onto another toss-up for $100... A - CAPTAIN KANGAROO B - CLARABELL THE CLOWN A, B, OR BOTH? PORTRAYED BY BOB KEESHAN James? James' answer is - "BOTH". And both is correct! (applause) Another $100 and the next card is yours James. Keep it or pass it?

O-O Wow, really? Alright! Lynn, what card did James pass to Kevin? Well well, a six! That could prove very well to have been a good pass on your part James! Next question... A - CORNCOB PIPE B - CARROT NOSE A, B, OR BOTH? ITEMS FOUND ON FROSTY THE SNOWMAN Kevin? Kevin's answer is - A And A is... CORRECT! (Applause) According to the song, Frosty had a corn cob pipe and a button nose...not a carrot nose. And you Kevin have another $100 and control of the next card. Do you wish to keep it or pass it to James?

To go with that six... A little deuce! 10 to 8 the score now... Next question, for $100 and control of Lynn's next card... A - CLEVELAND INDIANS B - TORONTO BLUE JAYS A, B, OR BOTH? AMERICAN LEAGUE TEAMS WHO WERE FOUNDED AFTER 1940 Kevin? Kevin says - "B". And B is... RIGHT! (applause) Keeping the card Kevin or passing it to James?

Very well. James, you must beat 18 to win this game and the match. You must correctly answer each question. One incorrect answer and the match will be tied up. Here we go... A - SUGAR B - ORANGE A, B, OR BOTH? COLLEGE BOWL GAMES James' answer "Both". And that is corretc! (applause) If the next card is a 9, 10, Jack, Queen, King or Ace, you'll be heading to the Gambit Board... Lynn, for the win... No... Next question... A - FLIPPER B - LARRY CSONKA A, B, OR BOTH? FAMOUS DOLPHINS James' answer - "Both". And that is... RIGHT! (applause) James, you need a 7, 8 or 9 to win the game and the match. What you don't want is a ten or face card. Lynn? picosong.com/fTwB/TOO MUCH! And we have a tie match! picosong.com/3zeF/So with that we'll set up for the tie-breaker... (segment continuing although in a new post...)

Lynn, please clear the boards... As we set up for the tiebreaker... The any 21 Jackpot was not hit, so for this game, it will be worth... (clang) $1,500. In the tiebreaker, each player will begin with a 10, which Lynn is now dealing out... As before, we'll show you the first card for this game... For a 6 of Spades... A - PRESIDENT JOHN ADAMS B - PRESIDENT THOMAS JEFFERSON A, B, OR BOTH? DIED ON JULY 4, 1826 James? James' answer is "Both". And that is right! (applause) Such a very eerie historical coincidence too, that 2 of the key men who signed the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776 would die exactly 50 years later... James do you wish to keep that 6 or pass? If you elect to keep it, please indicate if you wish to freeze or continue as well.

James has frozen on 16. Kevin, needless to say, you must get this next question correct to have a chance to win this match. Here's your question... A - BACK TO SCHOOL B - CADDYSHACK II A, B, OR BOTH? RODNEY DANGERFIELD MOVIES Kevin's answer is "A". And Kevin is... Right! (applause) Caddyshack had Rodney, but the sequel, Caddyshack II did not... So another $100 for you for that right answer... A 7 or better will win you this match. Lynn? TWENTY-ONE!!!!!!!!!! www.fileswap.com/dl/7IcdqlFbv3/GambitBlackjackCheerApplause.mp3.htmlKevin, congratulations! $1,050 since we pay $50 per point, plus you hit the Any 21 Jackpot, which is doubled since you needed only 2 cards, so that's another $3,000. So far in cash as our new Gambit champion you have... $5,650 in cash! James, unfortunately your 16 did not hold up, however, we play $25 per point for the runner-up in a game, provided they do not go over 21, so another $400 for you, and the readout says $4,100, but in fact it's $4,200 that you have won, all in Christmas cash! James, you were a splendid player who gave us a really exciting match. I thank you for playing, and wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year too! James Greek everybody! (cheering & applause) Well Kevin, I'm not sure how often it has happened this way, but I think it's happened a time or two already before, down one game to love, then come back to take the next 2 games of our match. In just a moment from now, we'll have you playing at the Gambit Board, for a lot of great Christmas gifts, lots and lots of cash and prizes galore await you! And we'll play Kevin's first Gambit board....right after this!

(I hope one and all had a nice Christmas holiday! Back to business ) It's Boxing Day, the day after Christmas, and our new champion Kevin Kolsen wants to get more presents, Frank? www.fileswap.com/dl/7vgdIMa622/05_-_Contestant_Intro_2.mp3.htmlFrank Caliendo (as Kenny Williams): Tonight, any twenty-one at the Gambit Board will win a cash jackpot now worth... Frank Caliendo (as Kenny Williams): TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS plus this… Frank Caliendo (as Kenny Williams): The all new 2015 Ford Fiesta SE 4 door sedan, equipped with EcoBoost Fuel Economy Package, Ford, Go Further, retail value… seven-teen thousand five-hundred dollars! Lots of other incredible prizes up on the board, and cash to be won too! Kevin, we're going to put you to work now. First, please select one of the 4 envelopes in front of Lynn. Each one contains the score you must beat in order to win the Gambit Board bonus game and any cash and prizes you select from off of the big board. Second, Lynn has a new deck of 52 cards that have been thoroughly shuffled under the watchful CBS eye, otherwise known as Standards and Practices. At this time, after you select which suited envelope you want, select also a number higher than 0 but lower than 52, as this will represent how deeply into the deck you wish to cut the cards. Third, please select your first number off of the Gambit Board Kevin.

Envelope #2, the Clubs... 15! (applause) That's the lowest card up there! So to win, all you need is 16 or better, without going over 21 of course. The cards are cut, and you've selected sweet 16... (clang) You've just won a GAS PUMP! No, not quite, Frank? Frank Caliendo (as Kenny Williams): From Sunoco... A gasoline gift card with which you can purchase gasoline or other items for your car, as well as food and beverage products from any participating Sunoco SuperMart. Two-Thousand Five-Hundred Dollars! I'm sure you'd love that new car to put that gas into as well Kevin. Lynn, what's the first card please? An 8, a nice start. One more 8 and you'll win! What number looks good to you now Kevin?

I'll take 14.

And with #14 we find... (clang) Mystery Money. You can either keep this and see how much money there is, anywhere between $500 and $5,000 or you may elect to pick again instead.

Keeping the mystery money, and it is worth... (clang) (groans) Well, just $850, but that's okay! We'd LOVE to see a 3 right here. But if it's an 8, 9, 10, Jack, Queen, King or Ace, you'll be an instant winner Kevin. Lynn, what do you have for him? Hey! That's not so bad either! (applause) If your next card is a 6 or higher, you will win. Let's hope that next card will be an Ace! Meantime, you get to pick again Kevin!

Give me number seven.
|
|
|
Post by billmcdee on Dec 27, 2014 18:30:46 GMT -5
And with number 7 we find... (clang) 500 times your next card! (applause) That means more cash. If your next card is a 10, Jack, Queen or King for example, that's $5,000. An Ace will mean $5,500 plus $20,000 from the 2 Card 21 jackpot, plus the car....oh mercy! Lynn, what's Kevin's next card please? He needs a 6 or better for the win... That's a BIG WIN there!!!!!! picosong.com/3zeF/Congratulations Kevin! Another victory here at the Gambit Board. Let's recap. First of all, you scored a 20. We pay $250 per point so right there that's $5,000. You just won another $5,000 because of the Jack you drew, plus $850 in Mystery Money. Also a $2,500 Sunoco Gasoline card, giving you a grand total here at the Gambit Board tonight of... Thirteen-Thousand Three-Hundred Fifty dollars in cash and prizes! (applause) Since the Any 21 Jackpot was not hit tonight at our Gambit Board, we will bump it up another $500 so on our next show, it will be worth $10,500 plus that new car, or $21,000 if it's a 2 card 21 that is scored! We'll be back with Kevin's one day total, it's a dandy. We'll be right back!
