Here's what's new for this episode:
The 300-point goal and the Double round have been reinstated. All games are now played with two Singles, a Double and a Triple.
If neither family reaches 300 points after the fourth round, a sudden-death question will be played, with only the Number 1 answer showing. The points scored in the sudden-death round will be tripled.
As in the Triple round, the board will show a maximum of six possible answers in the Double round.
In the Triple round, the controlling family will once again be allowed three strikes.
As the winners from 2002, the Ringgenbergs will get to play against another family. Meanwhile, we have to present this random episode from Richard Karn's second season:

CHALLENGERS 1. Anthony (geniusinmath) 2. Frank (grapebuy789) 3. Carl (Halian)

Looks like a rematch of 2002; one more player, and the game can begin!

Sure, you're in, and we can begin. (1999 FF Theme) ERIN HARRIS: It's time to play Family Feud!
Our returning champs, the Ringgenberg family...
...playing against the Long family! Now here's the star of our show, the master of surveys, Mr. Bill Skinner!Thank you, thank you very much! Well, it's another new season right here on Family Feud, and we're having a rematch of our last episode. We welcome back for the second time in a row our champions, the Ringgenbergs, who won $20,000 their first time around, and their challengers, the Longs. Are we ready to do it again? Matt and Anthony, let's play the Feud! (1999 FF Face-Off Cue) Good luck to both families in our rematch, and let me tell you that the first one to 300 points will play Fast Money for a chance at $20,000! We surveyed 100 people, and the top seven answers on the board; try to find the most popular answer, if you can. Name something associated with Tim Allen.

Richard Karn was on that show too, wasn't he? If I remember correctly, his characters name was Al somebody. Show me Home Improvement! clang! That's the Number 1 answer! Would you like to play or pass?

And the Ringgenbergs will play this one! I just remembered, it was Al Borland for Richard Karn's character on the show. Al Borland, remember that, folks. Alright Kevin, let's do it! Can you think of something else that's associated with Tim Allen?

He’s Santa in The Santa Clause.

You know what, that's a great answer. Show me The Santa Clause! clang!Number 2; good job! Now let's hear another answer from Nels.

His other sitcom, and I'm sure it is up there. Let me see Last Man Standing! clang! It's up there! Now we've filed up half the board, and Kevin, you have three answers left and no strikes on you. I hope you have an answer ready for us.

Let's focus on the generalities now. I'll say he's a stand-up comic.

I hear that's how all the great sitcom actors get their start. Show me stand-up comic! clang! We're really rolling! Now Nels, how about another answer?

Sure, that could be a possibility. Show me he's married! (strike buzzer) Ooh, strike one. Matt, let's get back on track with this. What are you going with this time?

He was born in Denver.

I think you might be on to something there. Let me see born in Denver! clang!I certainly did not expect that, but it was a great answer, even if only two people said it. Now Kevin, here's the situation: You're one answer away from taking the round, and you have just one strike, so do you think you can close it out?

Gonna try. I'll stick with the geography route and say he has connections with Detroit given his shows and movies.

Post by Bill Skinner on Dec 6, 2018 6:24:55 GMT -5
I really love that answer! Now if Detroit is up there, you get all the points; if not, strike two and we go to Nels. Show me Motown! clang!(1999 FF Win Cue) And in the rematch, the Ringgenbergs take the lead, 97 to nothing. Now let's move on to the next question with Kevin and Frank! (1999 FF Face-Off Cue) This time, we have the top five answers on the board. Besides a tree, name something that people put up for Christmas.
