Frank Sartori is our current champion on today's episode. After having some sour luck in Beat The Dealer, his total winnings are now $131,300 in cash and merchandise.
Right now, I'm looking for an opponent to play against the champion.
If you want to join in on the action, please let me know and be on standby.

My apologies for a very long delay. I've lost my GAME and MATCH templates for this show since Bill McDee have called it quits. I'll try my very best in renovating the set. Won't be too long though so please bear with me. Showtime will begin before the end of this month. Thanks for being patient.

===================================================================================== [OPENING THEME, CHEERS AND APPLAUSE] Jim Thornton: Today on Gambit, find a dollar sign on the very first selection and win...
And now, from Television City in Hollywood, here is the host of Gambit-- Tony Lane![CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Tony: Thank you, Jim. Good morning, folks... and welcome to the return of Gambit. Television's game of skill, fate, and fortune. The show where a 21 or blackjack could lead to a dazzling array of cash and prizes... including the top cash prize $1 million. [CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Sorry for a very long delay, everyone. A few weeks ago, we had to stop the show due to an almost tragic fire accident. The entire staff, visitors, contestants, including ourselves had made it without a single casualty in sight. After a few bandages and props completely fixed, we can now get back to the thick of things... winning big bucks and prizes. Before we meet the players, please give it up for our hostess... from FOX's TV show "9-1-1", please welcome the ultra talented Jennifer Love Hewitt. Oh, Jenn....? [WILD CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Jennifer: Happy belated Thanksgiving, everyone. Our apologies for that long delay. Now that the fire is completely gone, let's meet our two participants. [CONTESTANTS' INTRO]First, our challenger is a trading cards collector who enjoys game shows and cartoons. Originally from Spartanburg, South Carolina... meet ANTHONY LONG.[CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]And playing against Anthony is our returning champion. In just two days, he has a total of $131,300 in cash and prizes. He is a student studying early childhood education. From Holbrook, Massachusetts, meet FRANK SARTORI.[MORE CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Tony: Thank you, Jennifer. We'll see you dealing the cards after the break. First of all, let's meet our challenger. Anthony, please tell us about yourself.

I'm 30 years old. I have over 10,000 trading cards in my collection. I also love to listen to 80s music, theme songs, and enjoy game shows. I can't wait to play Gambit.

I am still suffering from a food coma. Anyway, I just turned 24 and I come from the great state of Massachusetts. I am a full-time college student studying early childhood education. In my spare time, I enjoy shopping for retro video games and I am a collector of Monopoly games.

So tell me Frank... what is your favorite Monopoly themed game?

Oh goodness. I have a lot of them. It would have to be the Sesame Street version. That was the first Monopoly game I ever got. Still have and use it to this day.

OK... before we begin round 1, we'll pause for a commercial break. And when our program returns, we'll begin the first round and add some cash to the two pot. We'll begin round 1 of Gambit in just a moment. Don't go away.
*fade to commercial*

*back to studio* [CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Welcome back to Gambit. Now that Frank and Anthony are ready, let's take a look at the pots on my podium. [CASH REGISTER RINGS]The player who has a combination of at least three cards that add up to 21 wins the Any 21 pot of $3,000. [APPLAUSE]But that's not all... Whoever gets an Ace and either a 10 or face card wins the Blackjack Bonus of $15,000. [CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]During the commercial break, the guys at RANDOM.ORG have sent our card dealer Jennifer a deck of 54 super sized playing cards that were shuffled, cut, and sealed. Right now, Jennifer is breaking seal and ready to show our players the first card up for grabs. Jenn...? Jennifer: Our first card in round 1 is a 6. Tony: Each correct answer is $100. And the player who is closer to 21 (without going over) wins an additional $500. Here's the first question... The last Saturday in October, the first Tuesday in November, or Easter Monday-- On which day of the year does the Melbourne Cup bring Australia to a standstill?*You have 24 hours to PM your buzz-code between 1 and 100.

That is correct. [APPLAUSE, DING]You got your first hundred bucks in the game, Anthony. Do you want to keep the 6 or pass it to Frank?

[APPLAUSE]The challenger passes his 6 to the champ. Jenny will not reveal the next card unless someone answers the next question. Winston Churchill, John F. Kennedy, or Franklin D. Roosevelt-- Which historic figure once used the following quote: 'Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country.'?

Anthony is keeping the card. Jennifer, please reveal Anthony's first card. Jennifer: Anthony's first card is a 7. [AUDIENCE GROANS][APPLAUSE]Tony: The bad news is the Blackjack Bonus is out of play. The good news is there's still a chance to win the Any 21 pot of $3,000. Let's move on to our next question. 2 halves, 4 quarters, or 3 periods-- A soccer game is divided into how many equal parts?
