(ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding) (audience applauds)
Well done, Anthony! A couple of things to note about that puzzle -- first of all, Season 1 of that show is fantastic if you haven't seen it and second of all, another star from Goliath from Season 1 is none other than our beautiful hostess Olivia Thirlby who plays Lucy Kittridge, one of the young associates at the big law firm. I won't give away any spoilers here Olivia, but you were brilliant in that show!
Olivia: "Well, thank you Glen, it was a lot of fun working with a very talented cast including those two gentlemen in the puzzle."
Indeed, I'll watch anything with Billy Bob in it and you as well, of course, Olivia!
Anthony, congratulations, you've solved that first puzzle and earned yourself an additional $2.50 worth of spending money, so let's update your scoreboard accordingly.
(ding)
As the puzzle winner, numbers will only cost you a dollar each in this round whereas James will have to pay $3 for each number. You also get the choice of choosing your numbers first or deferring to James and letting him choose first. There may or may not be some strategic help in deferring, especially in the next 2 rounds, so that choice is yours. Keep in mind though that if you defer, you must choose at least one different number than James chooses.
If you are choosing first, you may purchase up to 3 numbers for our upcoming Small Pot draw and your choices are the numbers 1 through 9, inclusive.
What would you like to do, Anthony?

Very well, so that's 3 numbers purchased at one dollar each leaves you... (ding)
...$14 of spending money remaining for the next rounds and with 3 numbers in play, you could win up to $10,000 in the Small Pot draw, so good luck to you, Anthony!
Before we can potentially draw your numbers though, we need James to choose his. James, since you have enough spending money to cover the cost, you must purchase at least one number for the draw, but you can buy up to 3 of them at $3 each and you must choose at least one different number from the 3 chosen by Anthony.
Which number or numbers would you like please, James?
