The stars are set, so we come to you now, Anthony. That poor Edna was so ugly, her crow's feet had...?

Skunks.
* I turn and start walking towards the panelists *
I have a feeling Anthony doesn't know what crow's feet are -- those would have to be some tiny skunks for that to work. Steven, what did you come up with?

Why would you get booed for that -- I think that's the definitive answer! (bzzzzzzzzzz)
Sam, how's it going? Any shows you have in the works that we should know about?

Well... not right at this moment I'll have to say. But for now, here's my answer, this was a bit of tricky one. (flips card)

Hmm, well I guess if her face had dirt on it, that would make her uglier anyway. (bzzzzzzzzzzzzzz)
Mr. Skinner, how are you, sir? How are things at Bill's Game Shack?

Going pretty good, and we just kicked off the current era on Family Feud: Seasons! Also, all my other shows will be back again this fall, so be on the lookout. I see one of two things, but I think the ugliest thing that crows feet can have is this... (flips card)

Yeah, I would have to agree, having hammertoes sticking out of her crow's feet would make Edna not so pretty, indeed. (bzzzzzzzzz)
* I walk back towards the left side of the panel to talk to Frank *
Now Frank, before you show us your answer, I have to know something. Root beer AND orange soda? Please tell me you're not mixing those together, are you?

No no. However, if you'll provide soft serve vanilla ice cream, I'll be making root beer floats. Now onto my answer. If I saw these on crow's feet, I'd be scared. So I said...

Well, to be honest with you, when I was over there during the break, I didn't even notice the soda, I went straight for the Keith's Pale Ale that I had shipped in! (bzzzzzzzzz)
Evan, Edna's crow's feet had skunks according to Anthony. What did you come up with?
|
|
|
Post by Twentington on Sept 7, 2018 21:57:41 GMT -5
Yes, I know crow's feet don't actually have crows... but the crow's feet needed somewhere to call home, so they built...

(audience chuckles) Well, that might make for an interesting Halloween costume -- have a couple of birdhouses hanging off the side of your head! (bzzzzzzzzzz)
Kevin, what did you think Edna had on her crow's feet? She had skunks, according to Anthony.

You know, the last chair is usually the bearer of bad news. It's also true in this case. I had the definitive answer:

Well, certainly that was the case more often than not when it was Joyce Bulifant or Patti Deutsch sitting in that seat, considering the weird and wonderful answers they sometimes came up with! (bzzzzz)
Yeah, since crow's feet are the lines formed on people's faces as they age, usually around the eyes and usually connecting to form what sometimes looks like the foot of a bird, poor Edna was so ugly her crow's feet had crow's feet to me is the definitive answer.
Well Anthony, you struck out on that one -- let's see how our champ does with his first-rounder. Nels, would you like A or B?

Excellent choice as we were fresh out of A questions. (audience chuckles) Question B of Round 1 goes something like this...

(Steven is MIA -- he may have evacuated as Bill Skinner has done due to Hurricane Florence. I think what we'll do is hold here until they are both back. Steven, when you return, please PM me your answer and Bill, reply here and let's us know you're good to go. Our thoughts are with all of you facing Florence in the coming days -- let's all hope she decides to pull a u-turn at the last minute -- stay safe).

Ok, all the stars have answers in their slots, so we ask for your answer now, Nels -- Harry said the restaurant was so rotten, when he dropped the spoon in his soup, it...?

Hmm, well we might see some judgement calls happening here with that answer.
* I turn and walk towards the panel *
Steven, the spoon vanished says Nels -- what did you say Harry's spoon did?

(audience chuckles) Ha, that would have to be some pretty awful food for sure if it makes even the utensils sick! (bzzzzz)
Nels wants to you make that spoon vanish for him -- are you able to do that, Sam?

Well, you could make the argument that even in the best-tasting soup in the finest restaurant on the planet, it will still sink into it, but that doesn't mean it will vanish, so no match there I'm afraid. (bzzzzz)
Bill, what did you come up with for this -- what happened to the spoon?

(I'm back, and ready to play!) Was MacGyver working there that day? Well, if he was, then there's one logical answer for this, and that is... (flips card)

Dang son, that was some hot chili! (audience chuckles) Yeah, that would be pretty awful, not to mention suspect, if it caused the spoon to explode on contact. The one spoon would become many itty bitty visible spoon pieces, so no match there either. (bzzzzzzzz)
* I walk the length of the panel back over in front of Frank's position *
I'm starting to get parched Frank, I think I'm gettin' another cold one during the next break, how about you?
