Excellent. All deadlines are 48 hours, and here we go. (cue intro theme) Jim: From the gambling capital of the world, it's time for Caesar's Challenge! And here's the host of our program, Mark Liotta! (I come out to a resounding applause) Me: Thank you, Jim. And thank you, audience. (Theme fades out) Welcome everyone to Caesar's Challenge. I'm very excited to be be here hosting this program for the first time, and our players are ready to win some money as well so let's go ahead and meet them right now starting with Nels Snesrud. I'm Sergio. I'm from Novelda (N-O-V-E-L-D-A), Alicante (A-L-I-C-A-N-T-E). I'm a language student. And here on NGC, I'm hosting "Cardiators", the Disney version of "Cash Trapped" and later, my own version of Wheel Of Fortune.

Hope that goes well for you, sir. Good luck to all three of you as we begin our first round here on Caesar's Challenge. In round one, we play two words of seven letters each and all correct trivia answers are worth $250. We also have a Lucky Slot jackpot that starts at $1000 and goes up by $500 until it gets claimed. Now here's the first word the three of you will try to figure out in this round.
T Z U (C) Z B U
All right, now the brackets you see on one of the letters indicates that that letter is the Lucky Slot. If you place the appropriate letter in that slot and immediately solve the word, you'll win the money in the Lucky Slot jackpot. With that said players, hands on your buzzers and your first question is coming up right now. Plato, Aristotle or Socrates, which one was a two-time Olympic champion in the grueling pankration competition that combines boxing and wrestling and very few rules?

(Buzz-In!) Socrates? PD: Do wrong answers penalize?

(You do not lose money for wrong answers here, Sergio) No, Socrates is incorrect. James or Nels?

Plato is correct. (ding) Okay Nels, $250 in your pocket and you get to place a letter on the board.

Second Z it is, let's see where that lands.
T Z U (Z) U B C
(Lucky Slot sfx) Woah! That's the lucky slot letter, Nels! If you can solve this word right now, you win the Lucky Slot jackpot. Can you solve it?

That is it! Very nicely done there, Nels! Not only did you solve the word on the lucky slot, but you had six letters left that were unplaced. We pay you $250 for those, along with the $250 for answering the question. That's a $2500 start for you, Nels. We'll go ahead and move to our next word, which looks like this.
T L S G A (I) N
Slot six is the Lucky Slot this time around. The jackpot remains at $1000 and here's the next question. The division of the United Nations that settles legal disputes, the International Court of Justice, is located in what country? Is it England, France, or the Netherlands?

(Buzz-In!) Nederland? I mean, The Netherlands?
|
|
|
Post by GameShowNetwork on Aug 3, 2018 15:46:14 GMT -5
That's correct. $250 for you now, Sergio, and you've earned the right to place a letter

Now Sergio has a letter in the lucky slot! $1000 if you can solve it right now, Sergio. Can you do it?

I'm going for it: LASTING.
|
|
|
Post by GameShowNetwork on Aug 3, 2018 15:55:49 GMT -5
Is it Lasting? (buzzer) No, but not a bad guess. Lucky Slot goes up to $1500 and here's the next question. The Adam's Apple, which is more prominent in males, is formed by a slightly triangular-shaped protuberance located in what part of the body? Is the the larynx, the eye or the ear?

(Buzz-In!) The Larynx!

Right. You go up to $500 and you get to place one of the remaining six letters.
