OK everyone, it's time to start a new version of Password. As mentioned, this will mostly be based on the classic version with a twist, with the Ca$hword and Alphabetics bonus round called Super Password. However, there are a few changes, so I'll detail them right now.
-Game is played to 100 points
-There will be the "traditional" option to pass or play, which will make the Password worth 10 points and goes down by 1 point each time. However, there will be a third option in play...gamble. This is somewhat similar to the "double" option on the ABC version. There will be a multiplier which will start 2, and the team in control can decide to "gamble" and try for 20 points. Each time the word is not guessed, it goes down 2 points. If the team who decided to gamble guesses correctly (on any point), the multiplier goes 3, and they try for 30 points the next time, and each time they guess a correct Password, the multiplier goes up another number. The team that guesses the last Password always gets the option. However, the gamble is the other team can get it and "steal". If the other team guesses, the multiplier goes back to 2 the process starts over. Hope that all makes sense!
-Ca$hword will be played by the first team who gets to 50 points. Same as Super Password, 3 clues, Ca$hword starts at $2,500 and increases that much until won
-Players can lose twice before leaving.
-As mentioned, first team to 100 points plays Super Password, which is Alphabetics. 30 clues total (2 "seconds" for each clue), $500 per correct answer, all ten wins $25,000. Increases by $5,000 each time until won.

Yeah, we've been doing what we can. We gave away 125 grand twice in one night a few nights ago, which was exciting. We're still on the hunt for a million dollar winner - maybe they'll come along soon!

I'm about to finish 2004 of the daytime era after doing a complete run of the nighttime version. I've done over 60 shows since I started this project back in 2014, and it's been quite a ride.
