Back to get Daytime On A Roll on -- a -- well -- roll.
Lenny Jackson returns with two match wins and $387,400. Right now, he's down one game in the current match to Evan Hatfield. In winning the first game of the currently match, he racked up $86,215 in cash and merchandise.
Lenny, Evan, please chime in and we'll resume the match.
(Per Evan's note in the vacation section, we'll play untimed downs for, basically, the week of the 4th of July.)

'Til then, we welcome Evan Hatfield to the dice table for OAR.

Staff announcer: On A Roll is next on Minnesota's most-watched station. (vamp to opening theme as camera zooms in on game board)(guest models of MMC fame hold up cue cards to camera) (scattered laughter) (more scattered; audience starts to cheer) (opening theme plays; audience cheers) Tiffany: Heading to the puzzle board for Game 1 is Paige Collings. Staying at the dice table for Game 1 is Korrina Rico. And here's our host, ready to get on a roll, Doug Morris! (audience cheers) Thanks Tiffany. Hellooooo, everybody. Happy Fri-yay. Welcome to On A Roll. Paige, Korrina, great to see you here again as always. Please rest assured you're not the only women to give me the silent treatment. (scattered laughter from crowd) Looking at you, Marie!!!!! (more laughter, scattered applause from crowd) With that frustration out of my system, let's welcome today's rollers. (theme plays; audience applause) Lenny Jackson and Evan Hatfield are back at the dice table. Lenny, true to the name of our game, has been on a roll racking up $387,400. (audience cheers) However -- he's down one game in this match to the challenger, Evan. He won Game 1, a new car and some cash to the tune of $86,215. (audience cheers) Gentlemen, we want to end the week with an exclamation point. So, let's resume the match right now with Game 2. As always, we start with a name game. First one to signal and give me the right answer about a famous person's last name gets control of four rolls of the dice. (FF reveal sfx)And Game 2 commences with a nine-letter name game. Here's the question. Who was on a roll -- as one of America's Secretaries of State? (ding)[Lenny and Evan, please PM me your answer and a buzz code from 1-100.]

60 redrangerdude 63 Twentington 92 random.org (Evan buzzes in) Evan? Evan: Kissinger. (dings; audience applause)Dr. Henry Kissinger. That's right. Evan, please hop in the box for four rolls of the dice. You'll get the dice for four rolls, shortly. But first, we need to load up the board. Ladies and gentlemen, please do the honors. (FF reveal sfx; Paige poses by numbered and blocked spaces) Two-word clues all the way. Evan, as you know, you'll be uncovering as many of those letters using the numbers and sums you roll on the dice. When you're on a roll, please do *not* roll doubles. Any double means you lose control of the dice -- and your opponent inherits the remaining rolls plus collects a free letter. (Korrina hands Evan dice) Thanks, Korrina. Evan, you've got the rules and the dice -- so -- you -- are on a roll. (Evan rolls)And you're starting off with a 3 and a 1. Evan, this means you may take any 1 and 3 off the board -- and they don't have to be on the same row -- or you may play the sum and have us take any 4.

(Paige touches screen)Starting with a W.... (Paige touches screen)...and an I. Evan, you may guess the top clue or roll again. Players, as always, if you're wrong on a guess of the clue or the overall puzzle, there's no penalty and you're still on a roll.

(Paige touches screen)Carving a new career with a B... (Paige touches screen)...and an A. Great grades in school. Will they help you in solving the middle clue? You may guess that middle row's clue, Evan, or take that last roll of this round.

All right. Last roll for the round. Let's see if you can evade doubles -- or we here from Lenny. (Evan rolls)We're ending the round the way we started -- with a 1 and a 3 -- or a 4. All ones are already gone and blocked. You may take a 3 or 4, Evan.

(dings; audience applause)As the old saying goes, "If that was a guess, it was a good one." Evan, at this stage, you could win the match and become the new champion. A correct solution based on just the top clue and parts of the second one means you'll play Big 6 and Lucky 7 for well over $300,000. But, a wrong guess or a pass means we play another name game.
