Hello all,
Earlier this week my wife's father suffered a stroke. She found out last night he suffered another and is in ICU. He may have to go on a feeding tube.
Last night her uncle was trying to find to see if he has a living will.
Things are very touch and go so if I suddenly "disappear", this is why, but I will keep you all updated and posted whenever I can.
Prayers for the family would be so greatly appreciated at this very sad and uncertain time in our lives.

Thanks all,
My wife visited with him and said all things considered, he's doing best as can be expected. He is able to speak but very weakly and he is aware that he suffered a stroke too. He recently had to begin dialysis too.

Hello friends,
Firstly I wanted to thank those of you who reached out to me on this thread and also via private message.
On Thursday, after we picked our son up from college, we stopped by the hospital to visit his "Pop".
He was moved out of ICU and into a step-down room. He was in excellent spirits, he recognized everybody, and all things considered, he looked pretty darn good I must say!
I've not been on too much lately, not only due to visiting my father in law and then going to dinner afterward on Thursday, but yesterday was a rather bad day for me at work. Actually the past two weeks or so have been pretty awful, and as such, I've come home rather exhausted physically and mentally, so I wasn't able to be on here yesterday.
I'll be on here a while early this a.m. but have a lot of yard work to do, then I have a lot of notes to write out with respect to some very serious issues I've been experiencing at my job in recent weeks.
Anyway I just wanted to send out this brief update and thank you again for your support and patience and friendship.
