Along with my other note in this section, my mom is sick with the flu. When I'm not in school like I am today, I will be spending most of my time taking care of her. My availability will be limited until she is well.

So here's the scoop so far: they took X-rays and the surgeon doesn't seem to be concerned. She might be coming home today, but I don't know. They gave her fluids and have kept her overnight.

UPDATE: My mom is being kept overnight again. She is feeling better, but the doctors don't want to send her home, only for my dad to bring her back. Still getting over this.

She's most likely coming home today. She can't stay another day and her nurse basically said she's going to be going home today.

My mom once again has to stay another night. The doctors did not start giving her food until this afternoon. If she holds down food tomorrow, she's set to come home, I hope.

My mom is back on the IV for potassium. She is able to hold food down, but I have no idea when the hospital is releasing her. I'm so sick of this (cuckoo bird).
