(audience cheers) The audience seems to agree. Is it Jim Parsons? (Correct)(cheers and applause) [ ] [ ]
[N][E][3][D] [Q][6][7][8][9][10][?]
[J][I][M] [P][A][R][S][O][N][S]
[H][I][?] [S][I][6][7][8][9]
Yes it is! Now, Michael, since you solved that row, you get a chance to solve the puzzle. If you're right, you get to play Lucky Seven for as much as $60,000. The clue is Jim Parsons. Michael, solve the puzzle.

Once all the letters started coming in for the second row, I knew the answer to that was "Jim Parsons". I'm just thankful the solution to the overall puzzle wasn't "Sheldon".

Ha ha ha. Very good. Anyway, let's see the rest of the puzzle. [ ]THE BIG BANG THEORY[ ]
[N][E][R][D] [Q][U][A][R][T][E][T]
[J][I][M] [P][A][R][S][O][N][S]
[H][I][T] [S][I][T][C][O][M]
First row, "Nerd Quartet". Because there are four nerds. Jim Parsons, arguably the breakout star of the series. And it's a "hit sitcom" on CBS every Thursday night. Ian, I'm sorry to say that you didn't win this game, so you're further behind from the car. We'll ask Rachel to escort you to Contestant's Row while Michael plays the bonus game, and we'll see you for game #2. A big hand for Ian Laudato, everyone! (audience cheers as Rachel escorts him) Now, Michael, this must be an exciting moment for you. I'm going to hand you these dice. Since this is your first game, we'll multiply whatever you roll by $5,000. So, if you should roll an 8, you'd be playing for $40,000. If you roll a 2, then you'll only be playing for $10,000. (audience groans) It sucks, I know. So, let's try to avoid a two. Good luck, and roll those dice! (Michael does whatever he does for good luck, and rolls those dice) An 8! You're playing for $40,000! (dings)(audience cheers) $40,000What do you think of that?

That's a nice amount of change & it doesn't suck to win $10,000. I'm just saying.

Let me put this in perspective. In 1986, when this show was only a pilot, the roll was multiplied by $1,000. Luckily, the winning contestant rolled a 12, so he played for $12,000 and won. Of course, that was a pilot. I'll discuss it more during this break. Stick around, we'll be back! [COMMERCIAL CUE](cheers and applause) (fade to commercial) --------------------------- ------------------------ (fade in) (cheers and applause) Greg: Welcome back to On a Roll. I'm here with Michael Clifford, who just won his first game. He's here playing Lucky Seven, the slightly-new Lucky Seven for reasons I'll touch on in a moment. Now, it's just you and the dice. Roll the dice and take out those numbers in any order you wish. For each one you knock off, I'll give you $500. You knock off all seven, and you'll earn how much?

(cheers and applause) You're absolutely right! Now, the reason this is relatively new is because starting today, you don't get a strike for rolling repeating numbers. You still get strikes for doubles, but if you repeat a non-double, then we give you an additional $50. That's important, because the money you earn here determines whether you come back tomorrow.
[LUCKY SEVEN] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] [10] [WINNINGS: $ ] [STRIKES: ]
Good luck, I hope you win a lot of money here. Here are the dice, you are On a Roll. (Michael picks up the dice and rolls) (audience cheers) Hey! That's a wild number. Which number do you want to take off the board? (audience shouts suggestions)

Good man. (ding)(cheers and applause)
[LUCKY SEVEN] [X] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] [10] [WINNINGS: $ 500] [STRIKES: ]
Roll them again. (he does) A 5! You're up to one thousand dollars. (ding)(cheers and applause)
[LUCKY SEVEN] [X] [X] [6] [7] [8] [9] [10] [WINNINGS: $ 1000] [STRIKES: ]
Let's see if you can get the six now. Roll them again. (audience cheers as Michael rolls) (wild cheers and applause) Well whaddya know? I called it! $1,500 for this young man over here. (ding)(cheers and applause)
[LUCKY SEVEN] [X] [X] [X] [7] [8] [9] [10] [WINNINGS: $ 1500] [STRIKES: ]
The seven should be next. (he rolls) Hey, there's another three! Which number do you want to take off this time? (audience shouts suggestions)

I would've thought you'd have gone for the seven. Oh well. (ding)(cheers and applause) [LUCKY SEVEN] [X] [X] [X] [7] [8] [9] [X] [WINNINGS: $ 2000] [STRIKES: ]
Roll those dice, and keep them coming! (he does) A 4! Pay the man $50. (ding)(cheers and applause) [LUCKY SEVEN] [X] [X] [X] [7] [8] [9] [X] [WINNINGS: $ 2050] [STRIKES: ]
Roll them again! (he does) A 9! Good for 500 simoleons! (ding)(cheers and applause) [LUCKY SEVEN] [X] [X] [X] [7] [8] [X] [X] [WINNINGS: $ 2550] [STRIKES: ]
$2,550 and no strikes. Need only a 7 and an 8 for $40,000. Roll them again! (he does) An 8! That's good for another $500! (ding)(cheers and applause) [LUCKY SEVEN] [X] [X] [X] [7] [X] [X] [X] [WINNINGS: $ 3050] [STRIKES: ]
You're doing pretty well. You have at least three chances to roll a 7. There are six possible combinations to roll a 7, so I think you're doing very well. Just avoid those doubles. Audience, cheer him on! (they do, and he rolls) No, no no. He's got to roll the 7 himself. We'll pay him $50. [LUCKY SEVEN] [X] [X] [X] [7] [X] [X] [X] [WINNINGS: $ 3100] [STRIKES: ]
Roll a 7! (he rolls) A 4! That's good for another $50. [LUCKY SEVEN] [X] [X] [X] [7] [X] [X] [X] [WINNINGS: $ 3150] [STRIKES: ]
Roll it again! We want a 7! Audience: We want a 7! We want a 7! We want a 7! (he rolls) A 9! Well, we're dancing around the edges now. Give the man another $50. [LUCKY SEVEN] [X] [X] [X] [7] [X] [X] [X] [WINNINGS: $ 3200] [STRIKES: ]
Boy, you're really picking up repeats today. Let's see a 7! That's what we want! (he rolls) (doubles)(audience groans) [LUCKY SEVEN] [X] [X] [X] [7] [X] [X] [X] [WINNINGS: $ 3200] [STRIKES: X ]
Well, at least you have one strike. Don't do that again. We want a 7! (audience chants as Michael rolls) A 6! Oh boy....... maybe eliminating the strikes wasn't such a good idea after all. Give him $50. [LUCKY SEVEN] [X] [X] [X] [7] [X] [X] [X] [WINNINGS: $ 3250] [STRIKES: X ]
He's up to $3,250. Michael, stop fooling around and roll a 7! (he rolls) Another 11. [LUCKY SEVEN] [X] [X] [X] [7] [X] [X] [X] [WINNINGS: $ 3300] [STRIKES: X ]
Up to $3,300.... one strike. Roll again. (he does) (doubles)(audience groans) Doubles! [LUCKY SEVEN] [X] [X] [X] [7] [X] [X] [X] [WINNINGS: $ 3300] [STRIKES: X X ]
Aww, drat! Now this really could be your last chance. We need a 7, for $40,000. We need a 7! (audience chants as Michael rolls) An 8! [LUCKY SEVEN] [X] [X] [X] [7] [X] [X] [X] [WINNINGS: $ 3350] [STRIKES: X X ]
Up to $3,350. Two strikes. You can cut the tension with a knife. We need to see a 7! (he rolls) A 7! Forty thousand dollars! (winning bell sounds, main theme starts up, cheers and applause)(Michael celebrates) $40,000 [LUCKY SEVEN] [X] [X] [X] [X] [X] [X] [X] [WINNINGS: $40000] [STRIKES: X X ]
[LUCKY SEVEN] [X] [X] [X] [X] [X] [X] [X] [WINNINGS: $40000] [ WIN! WIN! WIN! WIN! WIN! ]
Michael, you've just won $40,000! What's going through your head right now?

OK! Then let's not waste any more time. Rachel and Amber have switched positions, George has not. Unfortunately. Here's the first question of the second game.
In a zoo, on the farm, or in a Mexican restaurant: Where would you most likely find a chicken mole?
(buzzcode and answer, please)

(buzzcode: 55) *Ian buzzes in (52)*Ian? Ian: Mexican Restaurant? You're right! Actually, according to this card, mole is the generic name for a number of sauces originally used in Mexican cuisine, as well as for dishes based on these sauces. Outside of Mexico, it often refers specifically to mole poblano. Anyway, you have control of the dice. Here's the next puzzle for you to look over. (chimes) [ ][ ]

[1][2] [3][4][5] [?][7][8][9] [10][11]

(audience laughs) Now where did those chimes come from? Oh well, you have four rolls. Here are the dice, good luck. (he rolls them) [4][2]
[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][?] [9][10][11][12]
[1][2] [3][4][5] [?][7][8][9] [10][11]
