Ian Laudato so far has $7,000 in cash so far. He needs only 4 more games in order to win the car. Starting this episode, there will be a rule change to the Lucky Seven bonus round. From now on, repeat numbers do not award strikes. Instead, they are worth an additional $50.
In addition, a champion stays on until they win 5 games in any order as long as they have the highest score at the end of each episode. They will be retired at the end of the episode of that 5th won game. That means as long as you still have the highest score at the end of each episode, you can lose the first or second game and still qualify for the car. But if your opponent beats you, you're out.
Michael Clifford said he wanted to play, so I need him and Ian to check in.

I'm currently unemployed. I live in Marlton, New Jersey. That's about 15 minutes away from Philadelphia, so hello to everyone watching on CBS 3. I like watching TV (especially game shows), following my Philly sports teams, hanging out with my family & friends, going on the Internet, & listening to classic Casey Kasem American Top 40 shows.

So am I. Now, as you know, we play two complete games in each show. Each game involves a puzzle. If you solve the puzzle, you get to play "Lucky Seven" for as much as $60,000. No matter what the outcome, if you win the second game, you'll be playing for as much as $120,000; so it is possible for someone to win as much as $180,000 today. (audience cheers) We're playing this whole thing Pyramid-style in that the person with the most money at the end of the show comes back tomorrow. In addition, starting today, you no longer have to win five consecutive games to win the car, as long as you still have the high score at the end of the show. That means as long as you win at least one game and do well in the bonus round, you can afford to lose a game and still have a chance at the car. Does anyone have any questions about that rule?
