Welcome to the trading floor Mark! Let's hope that what you could win will be able to clear customs when you head back north of the border... Have a look... (curtain lifts) It's a new car! Frank? FRANK (as Jay) - It's the all new 2015 Ford Festiva, with tax and license it retails for $17,995!!! (applause) And Mark, that automobile could be yours in the next few moments. Here comes Frank with a tray... There are 5 numbered keys, and I will tell you right now Mark that at least one of these 5 keys will start that car. You select the right key, the car will be yours. Select a key please.

Let's go with key number 3

|
|
Post by billmcdee on Nov 9, 2014 12:20:04 GMT -5
Very well, (handing you key #3).
Before we go any further, I'm going to take key #1, place it in the ignition, turn the key and...
(nothing)
So Key #1 was a loser, but you didn't select key #1! Keys 2, 4 and 5 remain in the mix still however, plus key #3 which you now hold Mark.
If you wish to call off this deal right now, I'll pay you $1,500 in cash. What do you want to do?

I want that car!

Turning down $1,500 sure thing, very well.
I now remove key #2 from the tray...
(inserting it into the ignition)
(car starts)
Audience: (Groans & moans)
Well, had you selected key #2, that car would have been yours.
I will now offer you $2,500 cash, sure thing to call off this deal Mark.
But before you decide, I will remind you that at the start of this deal, I said there was at least one key that started the car. There may be more, then again maybe not.
$2,500 sure thing, or do we try another key?

Let's try another key

Very well, you have key #3, and we have #4 and #5 on the board here. I'll let you pick which one we should check next, 4 or 5 Mark?

|

Let's check number 4 next
|
|
|
Post by billmcdee on Nov 10, 2014 15:25:25 GMT -5
(placing key 4 in the ignition)
(turning the key)
(nothing)
Well now, so far we've had one key work, two keys that haven't, 2 keys remaining, yours which is key 3 and key 5.
I'll offer you $4,500 cash right now to call off this deal Mark.
|
|
|
Post by GameShowNetwork on Nov 10, 2014 16:53:45 GMT -5
$4,500 would be nice. But I want that car, so let's check key 5

Post by billmcdee on Nov 11, 2014 13:42:02 GMT -5
(laughing).... Let's test key #5 you say? Who's the Big Dealer here you or me?
I'll tell you what we're going to do instead. We will check key #5, but not just yet. For the time being Mark, have a seat, be on standby and we'll get back to you a little bit later
(incidental music plays)
And while Mark sits patiently for a while, for our next deal, somebody could win over $10,000 in cash plus a very nice vacation! Back for that deal and much much more, right here on "Let's Make A Deal!"
(I will need four people for this next deal, the first 4 to indicate on this thread will get to participate. Be sure it's on this thread, not via private message. Indicate your name and where you're from, and if you want to get fancy indicate what your costume is too!)

Here we have Doug, Matt, John and Greg to participate in our next deal, a little game we like to call "Beat the Dealer"...
Here is the board...
LET'S MAKE A DEAL
13 letters make up the board. Hidden behind each letter are the cards 2 through Ace, with Ace being high.
I will ask each of you to select a letter. The three of you who uncover the highest card values will win $1,000 in cash and move on. The one of you four who selects the lowest number will be out of the game altogether, but will win $500, which will buy you and a guest a nice dinner or two at the very least.
I will canvas all 4 of you to select a letter, one at a time. I will not reveal what each of you has until after all 4 of you have selected.
Doug, dressed as an ice cube with measles....no he's a "die" and his sign reads "Bill I am "DIE"ing to make a deal" is first.
Doug, tell me first of all which word you choose, LET'S, MAKE, A, or DEAL, and then tell me which letter of the word you select. Obviously if you choose the "A" that's by itself I won't need you to tell me which letter, but if you do, just say "I want the "A" between MAKE and DEAL please.

Thank you Greg.
Let's reveal who has the 3 highest cards. All 3 will win $1,000 and continue. The low card gets $500 but is out of the game.
Doug you drew a 10. I think that's a pretty safe bet.
Matt you drew a 7, middle of the road card....
John, our hippie you drew...
a 5! (audience groans).....not looking too good.
And Greg, this card will determine if it's you or John who advances....
(revealing the card)....oh my...
It's...a 3!
(audience groans)....
How about that, from 10 to 7 to 5 to 3, Greg, I am sorry ((handing you 5 $100 bills)). But stick around, as you never know, you might end up going for the first Big Deal of the day later today, if none of our other contestants try for it.
L E T _ M _ K E _ _ E A L
We have 9 cards left now. Same order as before, Doug, please select one of the remaining cards, after he does so Matt, please do the same, and after Doug and Matt both pick John, please select another card too.
The winner this time will win another $1,500 cash, the low card older will win nothing more, but still get to keep his $1,000.
