Hello friends, Bill McDee here.
With the holidays approaching so quickly already, it put me in the mood to try a game I've never hosted before or ever thought to host.
Have any of you ever done a Pollyanna gift swap? That's where you select a gift, unwrap it, and then after somebody else opens a gift, you can swap (steal) that gift away.
Sometimes, and it's happened to me personally, you end up with a real dud of a gift. One Christmas when I participated in doing this, I ended up with a package of Altoids! (no lie!)
"Caveat emptor" which translates to "Let the buyer beware!"
Between my prologue and now this picture, you have figured out by now that I'm going to attempt to do my version of "Let's Make A Deal".
Here is what I am envisioning...
It will be an "hour long" format. The one with Wayne Brady feels a bit long, but I'm doing a few things differently.
I know there are a limited number of us on here to play, so my vision is to get 6 to 7 dealers per half. Then 2 of those dealers will get to trade/risk what they won for a chance at one of these three doors. Lurking behind one will be "The Big Deal" worth a lot.
The second half of the show will have more deals, and another "Big Deal". Also one of the games every day will be the "Door #4" Dealer Wheel game played for an automobile.
The player who selected the best deal during each one of the "Big Deals" will be asked if they want to risk what they have won to try for the "Super Deal". The Super Deal will have 3 possible cash totals.
One will be $5,000 (a drop down most likely), another will be a mystery amount (could be $2,500 all the way up to $10,000), and the other will be the SUPER DEAL, and if that is selected, the player gets to keep what they won during the Big Deal round plus an added $50,000 in cash.
There may not be a whole lot of visuals that I will provide, as this will be my 4th game I'm hosting on here. This is a pilot/trial run episode only. I will be featuring many of the classic deals/games from the original hosted by Monty Hall.
As I mentioned earlier, with a limited number of us here, the player who does best during the first Big Deal will have to sit out, but the others will get to go again during the "second half" of the program, unless I can get 14 or 15 people to do this of course.
I have a lot to work on for this, and this may not be a permanent show, but we'll see how it goes.
Happy Dealing,
Bill
