And that puts Evan in a precarious position, as he must unfreeze. Evan, a 3, 4, or 5 will give you the victory. The bad news is that we've seen all of these on the board. Good news is that you may be able to find them in the Top Card deck. Choose a category...COLLEGE FOOTBALL or BIRDS?

Not a nature lover, eh? You might have an easy time with this one.
[ROADRUNNER] [PHEASANT] [GROUSE] [WILD TURKEY] [PARTRIDGE]
Which of these ground birds is capable of killing a rattlesnake with very little effort? You must answer this to stay alive.

You don't seem too sure...but you're right! Now, we need to see a 5 or lower, but we've seen a lot of low cards on the board. If it's too high, you automatically get the Top Card. Let's see the hidden card...

SEVEN will be too much, so we automatically go to the Top Card. Since you've unfrozen and you're the last to play, 3, 4, or 5 will give you the championship. Ace or deuce will keep you alive. Anything higher, and Matt is the new champ. Let's see (I pull the Top Card from the deck).
[3D]
You're still the champ! (Applause as theme plays) Nicely played, gentlemen! (Matt and Evan shake hands) Matt, you leave us with the $500 you won earlier, and a free weekend for two here at the Golden Nugget. Thanks for playing, Matt! (Applause as Matt leaves) Evan, you dodged a bullet on that one, my friend. You get an extra $1,000 for winning this round and you'll go to Top Card Plus for your second chance at a car! Stay with us!

Randy: Welcome back to Top Card! Let's find out how Evan does in Top Card Plus! Me: Thanks, Randy. I'm back here with Evan for his second attempt at the car. Let me remind you of the rules. You'll build a bankroll, then use that money to buy prizes and collect cards. You'll always get a choice of hidden cards or the Top Card, but whatever you refuse goes to the House, who always stands on anything 17 or above, and plays on anything 16 or below. Beat the house or bust the house, and you win the prizes you bought, along with any cash left over. Get a Perfect 21, though, and you get the cash, prizes, and your choice of one of these five Ford cards. Which one did you choose? (Spotlights shine on the cars as I name them) The ESCAPE SUV? The F-150 pickup? The FOCUS hatchback? The FUSION sedan? Or, the MUSTANG convertible? Evan? Evan: Let's go for broke. I'll play for the MUSTANG. Me: Excellent choice. Randy, tell him about it. (Theme plays) Randy: Evan, get a Perfect 21 and you'll leave here in an American classic: the Ford Mustang! Celebrating its 50th anniversary, this legendary sports car comes with a powerful V6 engine, independent suspension, anti-lock brakes, superior audio system, and many more great features for excitement on the road! This car is worth TWENTY-SEVEN THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED dollars ($27,900)! Good luck! Me: Thanks again, Randy. Evan, here are the available prizes. [COLLECTIBLE CHESS SET - $660]
[STACKABLE WASHER/DRYER - $1,029]
[TICKETMASTER GIFT CERT. - $1,000]
[HOME THEATER SYSTEM - $500]
[iPAD 2 W/ 1 YR. 3G - $889]
[OLD TOWN 12' CANOE - $775]
[TRIP TO SAN ANTONIO - $1,669]
[KENMORE ELECTRIC RANGE - $1,015]
[TREK MOUNTAIN BIKES - $800]
[LAST CHANCE]
There's also a LAST CHANCE, which will cost whatever money you have leftover. Now, let's get you that money, shall we? Since this is your second victory, we'll give you the first six cards off the top of the deck, which you cut during the last break. You didn't get any Perfect 21s, so no extra cards there. Faces count as 10, Aces count as 1. Whatever the total is, we'll multiply by $100, and that will be your bankroll. We'll also discard these cards, so keep that in mind when making decisions. Ready? Let's draw the top SIX cards! [2C] [6S] [9C] [JH] [KD] [] (8 of diamonds)Not bad! A 2, 6, 8, 9, and two 10s. That's a total of 45, giving you a bankroll of $4,500! Please make your first purchase.

A SIX. That will take you to 16...or it will take the House to 16. Remember, the House freezes at 17 or above. How will you play it? Take the six and give the House the Top Card, or take the Top Card and give the House the 6?

OK. The House will continue on 16. Let's see what we get you from the deck...

(Audience awws)
A FOUR. Can't freeze now, as you're trailing, 14-16. You have $3,111 left, so choose another prize. I'll point out that if the hidden card is too high, it will automatically go to the House, cause it to bust, and give you the win.

You now have the Home Theater, iPad, and Ticketmaster Gift Certificate, along with $2,111 in cash. If the hidden card is 8 or more, it automatically goes to the House, busting it and giving you the game. However...
We will still draw the Top Card. If the Top Card is a 7, we'll add the car to your winnings. Anything else, it's irrelevant. Of course, if the hidden card is a 7, you win the cash, prizes, and car. 6 or less, and it's decision time. Let's reveal the hidden card.

An EIGHT would bust you, so it automatically goes to the House, who busts at 24! You win! (Theme plays, applause)
As promised, though, we're going to see the Top Card. If it's 7, you've got that Mustang. Let's see...(I pull the Top Card)
[AD]
ACE. You would've stayed below 21. For the record, the prize that had the 7 was, appropriately enough, the 7th prize: the Trip to San Antonio. In any case, here's Randy West to tell you what you've won. Randy?
Randy: Congratulations, Evan! Today in Top Card Plus, you picked up the Blu-Ray Player and Speakers, an iPad with 1 year of 3G service, a $1,000 Ticketmaster Gift Certificate, and $2,111 in cash! Combine that with the $1,500 in cash you won today, plus the $5,000 won previously, gives you a grand total of...
$11,000
Me: Thanks, Randy! That's all the time we have for Top Card today. See you next time!
