Matt says the missing digit is 3. Does the Jewish male's Bar Mitzvah take place when he turns 13 years old? (ding; audience applause)(rolling sfx)That's right. Dice roll again, Matt. Let's see what you can do this time. (ding)Starting with a 5. (ding)There's a 6. (ding) (scattered applause and cheers) And a 4 on the end makes it a high straight for 20 points. Matt, if you stopped here, you'd be down 86 to 79 and we'd go to a fifth and final round to decide the championship. Tough decision. What do you do? (scattered suggestions from the crowd)

Not changing it. Reroll the 6 and go for the Crag.

I thinking you meant to say you're not "chancing" it. Judge, at this crucial stage, what's the ruling? Judge: Matt looks nervous. I'll let it pass. The 5 and 4 will be frozen and the 6 will be rerolled. (freeze sfx) (rolling sfx)Judge is certainly earning his keep this late in the match. Matt, stop on a 4 and you reclaim the crown. (ding) (audience groans) Obviously -- you were better off changing nothing and taking the 20. Instead, you only take 10. (tones sound) Oddly enough, that's what happened to Michael in Round 1. Rolls a high straight and trades in a 6 for a 1. OK, let's take a moment, catch our breath and discuss where we go from here. We just heard the signal confirming we've reached the final round of the match. These are the scenarios. Michael, since you're leading, your situation is simple. If you chime in with the right answer or if Matt gives an incorrect answer, you win the match. Matt, you *must* win this question to gain control of the Crag dice. If you end up with a 6, another 6 and a 5 -- not necessarily in that order, we're tied at 86 and have to play a tie-breaker question. If you roll a straight or better, you reclaim the championship. Let me caution the audience now to *not* shout out any answers -- because this the crucial Round 5 question. Missing digit question: I'll show you the age in which a Mexican female traditionally has her quinceañera -- and you tell me the missing digit.(ding)94 Jill Manas Fan 81 mjyr1 69 randomizer.org(Matt buzzes in)Matt, to stay in the match, what's the missing digit?

(scattered woahs and cheers) All right. No screens will be frozen. We'll reroll everything shortly. Remember, Matt, if you roll 6-6-5, we go to a tie-breaker. Roll any straight, any triple or any combination of 13 and you'll reclaim the crown. Last roll of the match starts now. (ding)The fate of the game is in your hands, Matt. Stop 'em when you're ready. (ding)Starting with a 1. (ding) (scattered woos and cheers) There's a *3*. (dings; audience cheers) That's a 5. Odd straight wins the match for Matt Johnson. Woah! That was probably the most exciting match we've had -- ever since we adopted this current match play format here on Crag: The Numbers Game. Folks, please give Michael and Matt another big hand. (audience cheers)Matt, we'll take you to the winner's board shortly for a shot at $5000 more. Michael Clifford, we ice your cake with another $500. That means you'll be leaving us with our great thanks, some fine gifts and a nice round cash total of $14,000. (audience cheers)Well, Matt, the championship is yours again -- and so is the winner's board. Different amounts of money are hiding behind those letters. One of the letters hides the top payoff of $5000. Whatever amount you find is yours to keep -- and we'll match that for the head start in Super Crag. Which letter do you think hides the five large?

Going with G. Does it hide the five grand? (dings; audience applause)Nope -- but it's $2500. That means you'll have a head start of $2500 in Super Crag -- after this. (WGYN theme plays; audience applauds)
We're back -- and so is Matt. You've won two matches and $23,500. We're a little short on time -- so we're going to dive right into Super Crag. First, say hello to our dice girl, Devon, who's going to help us out. (audience cheers) Devon has the Super Crag dice cup. Inside the cup are the three Super Crag dice. They're smaller than the regular Crag dice -- but the stakes are much higher. Now since you collected $2500 off the winner's board, we're seeding the Super Crag pot with a different $2500. (ding)Every time you want to play Super Crag, you're risking everything in the pot and you're rolling all three dice at once. If you come up with a safe roll, you'll win the roll's official value in hundreds of dollars. All those 20-point straights -- the lows, the highs, the odds, the evens -- are now worth $2000 each. Three of a kind is now worth $2500. Thirteen in any combination pays $2600 -- *however* if that combination of thirteen includes a repeat of a particular number, that's a Crag for $5000. (audience cheers)Anything else means you win $100 a point. Now -- your objective to to reach $10,000 or more. Build the pot up to $10,000 exactly, by any means, and you win the mega payoff of $1,000,000. (audience cheers)(rolling sfx)But if you end up with more than $10,000 in the pot, you win the super payoff instead of the million. The board is randomly generating amounts from $25,000 to $50,000. It will eventually stop by itself to determine tonight's super payoff. (dings; audience cheers) Hey now! $50,000. Going over the top means some serious coin. Now for the bad news, Matt. Every roll comes with a risk. Devon is reaching into the dice cup and is about to show us... ...that gremlin. (scattered boos) Matt, we've replaced one number on that cube with the gremlin. If your roll includes the gremlin, you automatically lose everything in the pot and the Super Crag is over. A lot to think about. A lot at stake. Knowing the risks and the rewards, I'll let you take $2500 right now -- or I'll let you gamble away the money and roll the dice. What do you want to do? (audience shouts suggestions) (Matt, if you wish to play and roll, please respond with "Go for it!" or something to that effect -- and then a number from 1-100 inclusive.
You'll see the result of that roll and the next few down the list of dice rolls until you win, lose or decide to stop after a safe roll. With Thanksgiving on the horizon in the U.S. and since you're playing against the house instead of another player, no real deadline pressure.)

(Matt shakes up bucket; pours dice down ramp) (scattered applause; a few groans) Another low roll -- but no gremlin. You're still in business and up to $4700. Now, Matt, after seven rolls, if you haven't reached $10,000, we double all the stakes. So keep avoiding that durn gremlin and you'll win more than $50,000. With that said -- want to stop and keep the $4700 -- or take your fourth roll of the Super Crag dice? (audience shouts suggestions)

All right. Devon's got the dice ready for you again. Let's see a big roll here. (Matt shakes up bucket; pours dice down ramp) (audience cheers) All right -- we're getting better -- we're getting luckier. Dice total 11 for another $1100. Matt, you're past the halfway point. Want to quit and take $5800 -- or risk all that loot on your fifth roll? (audience shouts suggestions)

Taking the Steely Dan approach. Good luck. (Matt shakes up bucket; pours dice down ramp) (most cheer; a few in the crowd groan) Oh man -- almost a triple. But -- no gremlin. So -- another $1000 in the pot. Would you settle for $6800 -- or are you taking your sixth risk? (audience shouts suggestions)

Little reluctant but going for it. Just keep avoiding that gremlin. Let's roll a great combination this time. (Matt shakes up bucket; pours dice down ramp) (mix of applause and groans) Wow -- two points away from a Crag. Still another good roll for another $1100. You're coming up on the seventh roll. If you come up with a safe roll then but don't reach ten grand, we double the values of all the good rolls. A gremlin at any time means you lose the $7900. Want to keep the 7900 and stop -- or roll again? (audience shouts suggestions)

(scattered cheers) Ah, the infamous "one more" bit. Roll a Crag here -- and it'll be a real sweet "one more". Good luck. (Matt shakes up bucket; pours dice down ramp) (audience cheers) (tones sound)No Crag -- but another $1100 roll puts you at $9000. (clip rolls on monitor) Nappa: What? 9000? There's no way that can be right. (audience laughs; smattering of applause)It is right -- and was that really necessary? (a few more laughs) Well, Matt, the tones you heard earlier indicate that was your seventh consecutive good roll. So that means we try to talk you out of that "one more time" call -- as you take a look at the paytable. Even though you haven't rolled a combination worth at least 20 points in the main games, all those combinations are now worth double. The straights are now worth $4000 each. A Crag is worth $10,000. (a few woos from the crowd) Anything outside these combinations pays $200 per point instead of $100. Since you have nine grand in the pot, if your next dice roll is worth five points -- 1-1-3 or 2-2-1 -- that will be worth $1000, you'd have $10,000 in the pot and the mega bonus of $1,000,000. (audience cheers)Roll a 1-1-2 and no bonus -- yet. Roll a gremlin, of course, and you lose everything in the pot. Anything worth more than five points and it's a bonus of $50,000. So -- do you want to stop and keep $9000 -- or roll again? (audience shouts suggestions)

One in six chances of missing, so let's go for it!

(audience cheers)You've obviously calculated the odds. You obviously like the odds. Hey, audience, let's help Matt out by chanting the target number he needs for the million -- FIVE! (more cheers; audience starts chanting, "FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE!") We're all on your side, Matt. Good luck and go get that million. (audience continues to chant, "FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE! FIVE!") (Matt shakes up bucket; pours dice down ramp) (loud cheers from the crowd) OVER THE TOP -- YOU GOT $50,000! (dings; alarm sounds; audience cheers; win music plays)Matt, I don't know if this is sinking in -- but you have just won a grand total in this bonus game alone -- of $62,400. (audience cheers)How do you feel?
