A couple of changes for this last episode of the NBC and shopping era:
-The Jackpot Wedge is retired. -R, S, T, L, N and E are now given to you in the Bonus Round with three extra consonants and a vowel of your choosing. Also, the number of solve attempts is reduced from seven to five.
Matt Riggenberg won just over $20,000 in prizes. I need two players to challenge him.

Save money on gas while helping the environment with this $14,000 Gem car! Feel the wind at your back in this $12,000 Harley Davidson! Make your winter a fun one as you cruise in this $16,000 Yamaha snowmobile! Over $156,000 just waiting to be won today on Wheel of Fortune! And now, here is your host, Kevin Kolsen! Me: Hi, gang! Welcome back! Happy New Year once again! That's right, it's another new show and another year to remember Wheel of Fortune by. And what a better way to remember 1988 by introducing our hostess, the lovely Vanna White! Vanna? *cheers and applause as Vanna walks through the curtain to the puzzle board* Let's also see who else we brought with us to play Wheel as they did back then as well. In the red, we have Erik Mokracek. Erik, tell us about yourself, please.

Thank you, you seem to have a lot of fun doing all that. We wish you luck on our show. You’re up against a formidable opponent in Matt Riggenberg. He cleaned house yesterday with $20,090 in prizes.
*cheers and applause*
Any plans for that car you won yet?

You'd also be playing to win, I hope. That's what everyone whats to do on Wheel. Here's how it works. *spins the wheel* $750 is the top dollar for our first round. Be careful not to hit Bankrupt because if you do, you lose your cash but not your merchandise because once you buy a prize, it's yours to keep. This is Round 1 and here is the puzzle. *puzzle reveal chimes* We start things off with a Nickname. Not a category you see too often on this show. Just before this game, we drew numbers to see who would spin first. 1 was drawn by Erik so it will be him. Erik, good luck!
