I will probably be off the grid on tomorrow or Monday. They have upgraded my area to a hurricane warning slash flood and tornadoes watch. I will try to stay safe as well.

I will be sure to put all games that you are involved in on hold until you are able to participate again. Thanks for the update.

I'm in Titusville now, so I'm taking this somewhat seriously. Thankfully, I'm at a position where I should be mostly safe from Irma's wrath.

Right now I am safe. Storm downgraded to a tropical storm...no power though.

Hopefully power will be restored for you as soon as possible. I think we went without for 4 days with Hurricane Sandy back in 2012.
Glad you were able to weather the storm Kourtney! Thanks for giving us an update!

Power back on. Can get back to normalcy here. Sadly I am not sure how long Florida, Texas, Caribbean and other places will take.

Well that is sensational news for you Kourtney and to all of us here. Indeed, for other parts of the states, it could take weeks, months even. Just goes to show how our human nature is, we take such things as electricity for granted. Mother Nature helps remind our human nature not to take anything for granted.
Three non-human nature events in my neighborhood during the past two months have me realizing how I took feeling safe for granted living here in this community now for the past 20 years. A neighbor of mine who lives diagonally from me was arrested for domestic issues, I found out yesterday that three weeks ago my next door neighbor died from an overdose, then yesterday someone else from another section of our community put ten bullets into the rental office, at least one bullet penetrated the wall and nearly struck one of the workers there.
With all of this craziness going on of late, it helps put life in much more proper perspective to be sure.
Continuing to pray for all of my fellow/lady Texans, Floridians and all other Americans who have been negatively impacted by either of these hurricanes and/or neighborhoods that seem to be going down the tubes all of a sudden.
