To try to speed things up, I introduced a "head start" element at the beginning of the second match during episode 1. It appears that's going to yield wins much too fast.
What I plan on doing instead is, once a new match takes place, to introduce an added strategy element whereby after a player gives a correct answer, they will have the option to place a free block anywhere on the board that they choose but in doing so, they would have to sit out for one question. Also, the free block must not yield a win. A win must be earned with a correct answer still.
The other risk in playing a free block is that block may be concealing the BONUS block. If so, then it becomes out of play for the remainder of the game.
