I need two contestants to challenge our returning champion Matt Riggenberg who has won two games and $55,000+. Who'd like to play Wheel the 1983 daytime way?

I had so much fun in 1979 that I'd like to have another go at it!

Audience: WHEEL!...OF!...FORTUNE! *1983 Changing Keys starts up* Jim Thornton: Look at this studio! Filled with glamorous prizes, fabulous and exciting merchandise! Including... A rare baseball autographed by Ted Williams! Tickets to four of LA's hottest sports teams! And for those hard-to-get-to fun spots, this Jeep Renegade! Over $163,000 just waiting to be won tonight on Wheel of Fortune! And now, here is your host, Kevin Kolsen! Me: Hello, everybody! Welcome! That's right, it's another year of winning and fun here on Wheel of Fortune. Now, as you know this is the year Wheel began its syndicated version but we're still going strong in the daytime as well. To prove that, we have our hostess who is also working twice as hard, Vanna White! Give her a hand, folks! *cheers and applause as Vanna walks through the curtain to the puzzle board* We also have three players wanting to cash in and win some more prizes. We have, returning for his third and final game, our champion Matt Riggenberg. He's already won his two bonus rounds for a grand total of $55,329. *cheers and applause* I'm guessing you like our new addition to the past two years. Do you think you'll make it back there again today?

That will be a great ending, won't it? You have two opponents who don't want that. We'll start with Kourtney Wilson in the yellow. Anything new with you?

Nothing different with me right now. Still a cashier at a national sandwich chain. Also slowly learning Korean as well. Not easy but I am learning.

You're doing a great job so far, though. Let's now welcome our last contestant, Bill Skinner. How are things, Bill?

Going pretty good, Kevin! I figured as long as you're keeping this Daytime Seasons thing going, I might as well play another game here. And not to spoil things, but I'm pumped for the 35th anniversary of the real thing; let's save that for another show, though.

So am I, I'm excited for the syndicated version's 35th season as well. What better way to celebrate that to play this show? *spins the wheel* $750 is the top dollar value for our first round. Be careful not to land on Bankrupt because if you do you lose your cash but not your merchandise because once you buy a prize, it's yours to keep. Here's our first puzzle... *puzzle reveal chimes* The category is Thing. Just before the show we drew numbers to see who would start... And Matt, it's going to be you. Good luck!
