Picking number 14... Matt B., if you win this round, you will earn the right to play the Red & Black mini-game. For now, it's your opponent's pick. Matt R., where will you go next?

Number 11... *claps from audience* Hey, it's not much but look at it this way, anything's better than a Bomb. Down to the last six squares, Matt R.

Number nine... *gasps, then cheers from audience* Matt, you picked a pretty good time to find that. We'll add that one to the beginning of your four-figure total, meaning that pick was good for $10,000! Matt B., that's going to be a tough act to follow. Pick another square if you please.

You've settled on square 3. We'll show you what's behind it right now... *oohs from audience* Well, we've reached an interesting scenario. Matt B., after we credit you $150 for that pick... You two have managed to avoid your bombs on thirteen of the squares in play. Matt R., this means the only way you can win this round is if your opponent managed to lock his bomb on the same exact square you placed yours. Of course, in your case, losing $50 may not seem like such a big deal. Pick one of the two remaining squares and hope for the best.

Choosing square number eight. Your only chance of survival is if that's anything but a bomb. Show us number eight... *awws from audience* Sorry, Matt R., that's the bomb which means Matt B. has won the round! *cheers and applause* Matt R., that of course means we have to take fifty bucks away from your score. You still, however, have a commanding lead with $11,100. Matt B., for winning the round, you've won an extra $100, plus $25 for that one space still in play and your multiplier is now at one. After we add that together, you jump ahead two spots to second place with $700! We know Matt R. put his bomb behind that last square but let's show the folks at home for proof... Matt B., congratulations on winning that round. I have even more good news for you, you've won the right to play the Red & Black mini-game for surviving this round. Let me explain to you how this works... We've now divided up the board in twelve squares. Behind each of them are dollar amounts... As you can see, there are six black amounts and six red amounts. Your job is to find the black amounts which add to your score while avoiding the red amounts that deduct from your score. The mini game ends if you've picked all six of the blacks or reds though you can stop and quit at any time. If you can find all of the black amounts, we'll give you a $1,000-bonus. If you can do so without finding any of the reds, it's worth $10,000! *cheers and applause* Let's shuffle the board and hide all the amounts again. *TTD shuffle beeping* Which square would you like to start out with, Matt B.?
