Going one square diagonally... *applause* There's another $100 for you. Every little bit helps. Take it away, Matt. (Deadlines are suspended until he gets back)

#12... Matt, win this round and you'll have the right to play for $4,000 in the $trike it Ri¢h mini-game. Jon, pick again.

Let's see what's behind #9... *awws from audience* One of the two Bombs which means Jon wins this round. *applause* Matt, that Bomb wipes out your right to play the mini-game and it takes $50 from your score. You remain in fourth place with $17,345. Jon, on the other hand, you get $25 for each of the squares in play and $100 for winning the round. That $300 is doubled because you now have a multiplier of two and it brings your score to $24,625. Here's what the rest of the board looked like: Some pretty good amounts but we had a Multi +10 hidden in this round which both of you missed out on. We'll be back with Round 28, don't go away!

Our board is locked and reloaded so let's continue our Race to a Million! Let's see who will be playing in Round 28. We'll start with Michael who we thought at first couldn't be caught. You now trail by over $50,000 though you're in second place. Clement, you're bringing up the rear but that multiplier of two could be a huge factor in this round. Why don't the two of you lock in your Bombs right now. *think music* Okay, we're going to start with Clement. Pick a square.

Fifteen first... *cheers and applause* That pick is good for $150 times two, Clement. Your score of $16,375 is now within one grand of fourth place. Michael, where will you go for your first pick?

Going right next door. 14 has... *oohs from audience* Well, that's a tough break. It means Clement wins this round. *applause* For finding that Bomb early, you leave here with less money that what you came here with, Michael. You hang onto second place with $35,750. Clement, we have to do a little math because your multiplier is now at three for winning this round. That means you get three times $100 for winning the round and $25 for the thirteen uncovered squares. It all adds up to $1,275 which we tack onto your score, now giving you possession of fourth place with $17,650. Here's what the two of you missed out on... Nothing huge, except for the $5K Run. Clement, you didn't need that Multi-Saver with the way that game was heading. Now, since your multiplier is a 3, you have won the right to play the Bonus Round... Behind the fifteen numbers are two sets of seven dollar figures from $100 to $1,000. The pair you find first is the one you keep. However, behind one of those is the Wild Card. Finding that doubles the match you pick. Looking at the scores, you can't usurp Jon at third place if you play your best but you can come pretty close. Whenever you're ready, please pick your first number. (If you want to speed the game up, give me nine numbers)

Starting with #6... *cheers and applause* So far so good! Let's find that other grand, Clement, though a Wild Card would be nice. You picked #7 next... *groans from audience* Can't help you there. You'll try again with square five... *oohs from audience* It's a step in the right direction...somewhat. Why don't we reveal your next choice. You picked eleven... *mixed reactions from audience* And you've found the second-highest amount on the board. You'll try again with #1... *cheers and applause* There we go! That's $1,000 times three giving you another $3,000. You breach the $20,000-mark and you end this round with $20,650! That's what the rest of the board looked like. You missed the Wild Card behind #12. We're coming right back with Round 29 after this!

Our board is locked and reloaded so let's continue our Race to a Million! It's not often we see a rematch so soon but here it is... Jon and Matt, your rubber match is set to begin. This time, Matt is aiming to crawl out of last place due to a strong showing by Clement. Please lock in your Bombs now. *think music* Okay, here we go. Matt. you trail by $7,280 so pick a square.

Behind square #1 is... *awws and groans from audience* Believe me, Jon, I'm just about as surprised as you are right now. It's another quick end and Matt comes out victorious. *applause* That means you don't put that multiplier to good use in this round and you leave with a $50 deficit for this round. That will bring you down to $24,575. Matt, it's an empty victory but a victory nonetheless. $325 for the thirteen uncovered squares plus $100 for winning the round adds up to $425. That bonus takes you to $17,485. And let's see those uncovered squares hid on the board. A lot of cash and that Red & Black mini-game. Round 30 is coming up next!

Our board is locked and reloaded so let's continue our Race to a Million! We have a different clash of the titans for this round. Here are our two players: Matt and Michael, you two are looking to continue building your bank and stretching the lead over your competition. You'll also do that against yourselves in this round. Using your keypads, lock in your Bombs now. *think music* All right. Michael, you trail by over $50,000 so you get to make the first selection.

All right, behind #5 is... $50. This means you can't do any worse than breaking even. You're also $25 shy of $87,000. Back to you, Michael.
