Dear Friends,
You may have noticed that my presence here has been extremely limited as of late. I just want everyone to know that I am all right and am not upset about anything that has been said or done here. Instead, this is the beginning of a lot of changes in my life.
For one, on June 9, under the strawberry moon in the surf of Carolina Beach, NC, the love of my life and I got engaged. We are set to be married on September 29, 2017, and we've got some planning to do.
For two, at the end of this month, I will be moving again, this time into my fiancé's house, not too far away from my apartment. I won't have as much to pack, but that's going to take some time.
Finally, and most importantly, my position with a test prep company has ended after eleven years. On June 1, I knew this was going to happen, and since then, I've had to search my soul and some job boards, and I haven't had as much luck with the latter as I would have liked. I hope that something will come up at the end of the month, as I have some promising interviews coming up this week and next.
Due to all this, I need to take a sabbatical from these boards, perhaps temporarily, perhaps permanently. I don't know at this point, but once everything feels normal again, I may occasionally check in. At this time, though, I have to devote my time and energy to taking the next right step in my life. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers, thank you, and good-bye....for now.
