Let's do the wrap up of rules.
Two players, one returning champion. The goal of this game is to reach $2,500 before your opponent. The first to do so goes to the bonus round for a chance to win up to $50,000.
All questions in this game has almost the same format like what Wheel of Fortune called Toss-ups; letters randomly appearing, guess the word/phrase, win stuffs. There are three rounds in this game.
ROUND 1: THE WARM-UP There are 6 Toss-ups in this round, the first three have the same clue attached to them, and so do the other three. In each toss-up, letters will appearing randomly one by one (or in forum cases, players PM how many letters they want to see and a buzzcode). The first to buzz-in gets to answer. If (s)he's right, they earn $100. If wrong, the game will give more letters to the puzzle and the opponent gets a chance to answer. If the opponent still gets it wrong then we'll just throw that toss-up away. After all 6 toss-ups have been played, we move on to round 2.
ROUND 2: THE AUCTION (Four buzzcodes are required before the beginning of the round.) In this time, there are 4 Toss-ups, each with its own clue. However, a different gameplay is used for this round. A toss-up is shown, with 1-3 "starting" letters. The host then announce the clue, and the "maximum bid", meaning the maximum letters a player may ask for in this toss-up. Then the first player to buzz in gets to make the first and third (final) bid. The buzzer make the bid by bidding on how many letters (up to the maximum bid) they want to see. The opponent may either outbid, or pass. If (s)he outbids, the first bidder can then either outbid and play, or pass. Note that if the first bidder outbids their opponent, (s)he automatically plays this Toss-up. If someone passes, the opponent plays the toss-up with their bid. The game then add letters to the toss-up according to the player's bid. If the player can answer the toss-up, they earn $200, otherwise the $200 goes to their opponent. NOTE: A bid of "0" can be made, if a player bids 0, (s)he automatically plays the toss-up with no extra letters. After all 4 toss-ups have been played, we now go to Round 3.
ROUND 3: THE RACE Played like round 1, but each toss-up has their own clue instead. Correct answers pay $300 for the first three toss-ups, and $500 for the 4th and later toss-ups. We'll play toss-ups until someone reaches $2,500, becomes champion, and goes to the bonus round.
BONUS ROUND: THE $50,000 TOSS-UP The goal of this bonus round is to solve the $50,000 Toss-up, which is super long and only a help of 1 visible letter is available. To help the contestant solve the $50,000 Toss-Up, there are three Clue Toss-Ups to solve, which the three Clue Toss-Ups are clues to the Big Money one. Starting on the first Clue, the contestant may reveal any number of random letters in the Clue Toss-Up, but keep in mind that they may only reveal up to 20 letters for all three Clues altogether. Once they think they know the answer, they may solve the Clue. if they're right, they earn money and the full Clue is revealed. But if wrong, they don't get anything, and the clue is left as it is. Whether the correct solution has been given or not, the game moves to the next Clue. After all three Clues have been played, the contestant then attempt to solve the $50,000 Toss-up. NOTE: The prize given to the contestant by the number of Clues (s)he successfully solved: 0 Clues: $1 + Bonus Round ends right away. 1 Clue: $1,000 2 Clues: $2,500 3 Clues: $5,000
Then the contestant is shown the $50,000 Toss-Up. One visible letter s added, followed by bonus letters equal to the number of clues they have solved. The contestant then have 5 chances or 24 hours to solve the Toss-Up. Successfully solving augments the bonus round winnings to $50,000
Should a player become champion for 5 days in a row, the Bonus round is played for up to $1,000,000.
